Ok so it took some time but i managed to make a Score system with combos, there's room for improvement but for now here is the first implementation of it hopefully adds to the fun :p
Here's the changelog for recap as well as explaination on how the simple scoring / combos work :

Scoring mechanics in V0.7 :
Each enemy type has their own points value upon destruction, basic enemies are worth 10 points, shooting enemies are worth 50 points
When an enemy is destroyed a combo countdown window starts :
