Hello. This is Bowspam.
Today, I have released a new version of the prototype for "Vanitas eye" that allows you to experience the story directly in your browser, no download required.
The small "hassle" of downloading something.
It would be a great sadness to me, as a creator, if there was a story waiting on the other side of that small wall that was never met.
This story is only complete when it is "seen" by you. That is why I felt I should prepare as many doors as possible for you to find it.
Of course, the downloadable version, with its stable performance, continues to offer the best possible experience. The browser version has many imperfections; there are issues with the save function, and you may encounter unexpected glitches.
It is like a landscape viewed through a pane of glass. You cannot touch it. The details are hazy, and it might vanish at any moment. But even so. If you are able to feel even a hint of the "presence" of the world that certainly exists on the other side of that glass, then that alone gives this prototype more than enough meaning.
You might even call this browser version a fleeting "dream."
I will continue to move forward with development, slowly but surely, until the story is complete. If you happen to notice anything in this ephemeral dream world, please let me know in the comments. Your "gaze" is what will make this story more real.
