Hello Gamers!!
It's been a while since the last update, but as promised the latest update is here! With this update comes a lot of changes that we hope you'll all enjoy! Below is a better explanation of the power ups you'll get when playing.
Game play changes:
*Rewrote enemy spawn system.
Enemies will spawn in intervals over time, with each type appearing after a certain amount of time has passed.
We hope this makes the game more approachable at the start to get a better feel of how to play over a few runs.
This should also reduce the amount of duplicate enemies of the same type spawning on top of each other.
*Enemy Paths & attacks adjusted.
Rewrote the enemy pathing system to create a more balanced challenge. Enemies will fill out the game stage to help reduce some clutter and make it slightly easier to dodge bullets. Some enemy bullets have had speeds slowed down and adjustments to when they start shooting.
*Small visual feedback
Added some additional animated feedback for some actions like shooting. You'll now be able to tell when you get an extra life after defeating 50 enemies.
Added some additional basic UI elements to track other elements like enemies defeated.
*New Power up:
Added a power up to give you life! This will replenish 1 bar of HP, no overshield if picking up at max health.
*New Boss:
Added a new boss that has a 50/50 chance of spawning over the original boss. We won't give away it's looks or attacks, but we hope it's fun little addition to mix up some of the game play!
