Chapter 5 is out ! –2025/09/13 – DEVLOG#20

Hey everyone,

Version 0.5 is finally out!

STORY PROGRESSION 

This update brings one of the most important lore moments so far: the long-awaited dialogue with the Master.
At last, he reveals fragments of the truth behind the Storm, Black, and the origins of the wars that shaped the Seven Worlds. Expect heavy exposition, a somber tone, and the first pieces of the puzzle that will carry the story into darker and more complex territory.

EXPERIMENTING WITH MICRO-ANIMATIONS

I started testing small animations inside the VN flow to enhance tension and immersion. It is not a full cinematic yet, but a first step toward making the narrative feel more alive without breaking the pacing of dialogue. I hope that, soon enough, i'll be able to build a real animation to help the story.

It's very hard, but rewarding.

DREAM’S LIBRARY 

I've added two new locations for story purposes, but not yet reachable from the main hall.

First will be the Master's Office.

And Dream's Library.

This surreal and otherworldly place will act as a gateway for lore expansion, Codex entries, and narrative bridges with one of the Primordials: Dream, the Monarch of Dreams (yeah, I know, but that's his name and I like it). 

It’s the kind of area where atmosphere matters just as much as information — so I paid extra attention to its look and feel.

WHAT’S NEXT

That’s it for this week. Next week will be all about polishing these new sequences and Looking ahead to version 0.55:

• A major push on affection paths. Every companion will get significant progression, with deeper moments, more choices, and higher affection levels available.
• More polish on the animation system and narrative pacing.
• And of course, the next step of the story.
