"If it's too good to be true, it probably is". - but in this case I can't find the catch.
Hey fellow airliner directors!
Finally we have a new blog update. We spent another month doing nothing else but bugfixing and patching. But I believe it's time well spent. This patch in particular sees some great improvements.
The most important improvement for this patch: Performance!
Previously, playing with the 10 heaviest opponents, the season change took about 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds. Now, playing with the 100 heaviest opponents, the season change takes a mere 4 seconds. That being said, the opponents are still quite passive and creating a game with this many AIs takes some time. (although game creation also saw an improvement).
Besides this performance improvement, we also further stabilized the game. A shout out to Kwilson92, a forum member who helped me a lot to figure out a certain big yet hidden bug.
We are down to one bug, with which I have been struggling for a while. But I'm determined to fixing it before we continue working on V2.15. It's a bug where the game 'forgets' the video option you chose in the seatmap of some airliners. If you have any clue about when it happens, please let me know. :)
