We've just released version 1.0.1 of PugRace Evolution with some important quality of life improvements based on player feedback.
🛍️ Purchase Confirmation Modals
We've added confirmation dialogs for in-game purchases to prevent accidental spending. Now when you're about to buy:
- Auto-merge boosters
- Production boosters (x2 and x5)
- Bone packs
You'll see a confirmation modal showing:
- Item name and description
- Price (coins or bones)
- Cancel and Confirm buttons
This gives you a chance to review your purchase before committing. Instant pugs and time skips still work directly as they show
result modals after purchase.
📳 Vibration Settings Fix
Fixed an issue where the vibration toggle in settings wasn't being respected properly. The game would vibrate even when the
setting was turned off. Now:
- All vibrations go through the centralized AudioManager
- Vibration only happens when enabled in settings
- Different vibration intensities for different actions:
- Regular merge: 100ms vibration
- Auto-merge: 30ms subtle vibration
- Pug generation: 50ms quick vibration
🔧 Technical Improvements
- Centralized version management system
- Added proper internationalization support for new UI elements
- Improved code organization for better maintainability
