New prerelease! Very straightforward this week: I added a new bad end, this time the Roland Bad End that gets triggered when losing at the Ritual (while Roland is still alive and before you enter the final section). The easiest way to trigger it is probably to have a high Adoration value and then lose to Roland. Once you do, you will be given a Willpower check which upon failure makes Aura give up the dungeon specific Souldust resource, thus triggering the bad end.
There are two CGs planned, one focusing on Claire winning against Richard (Scene 3), and a second one focusing on Aura losing to Roland (Scene 5).
We had quite some discussions this week on which costume will be associated with this ending, currently I believe the Pet Costume would be better suited for the bad end and the latex costume would be better suited for the planned extension of the Roland events in 1.3.
Either way, you can find both costumes as well as the new High Ponytail hair style in the Deluxe Console.
Speaking of the Deluxe Console, here we also have a big feature developed by our assistant developer Trihan that we have tried to add several times but always had to delay due to higher priority features: A proper character editor.
Especially with the two new costumes, the choice menu was getting out of hand so this should give us the ability to scale up more & also give us a more systemic way for doing character customization. There are still quite a few things to do as the icon previous are currently the "base" costumes without colors applied so they look a bit wrong. Through the systemic approach it should also be possible to enable configuration of Earth Aura so you no longer need to have dedicated saves just to turn on whatever new hair / clothing style gets added on Earth. We also plan to reuse this technology in Liora so that you can configure her looks outside of contracts through the Deluxe Console. But that's all still on the TODO list.
Aaaand that's it for the week! Next week, we have a quick break from SKA for a mini Liora update and then in the week after that we have the last main development week for 1.2.0 followed by the beta release on 26th of September.
