Gravity Storm a Week After Release

After a year and a half of development and a lot promotion, Gravity Storm came out the 5th of September on itchio and Steam. 

Basically, zero sales. The only person who bought it here was a streamer who I gave a Steam key, but he still wanted to support me, so he decided to buy the game on here.  Also, I got a few donatations last year when the game was just a demo with no Steam page.

This is how much it has  sold on Steam:

47 sales so far, although I expected at least 100, but it's way better than nothing. Also, the game released with 700 wishlists, and now it has 911; that was unexpected. The wishlist to sale conversion is pretty bad as well. 


Other Stuff

Yesterday, Gravity Storm got 10 reviews on Steam, which has given it a significant boost in visibility, so sales might stil pick up.

Itchio gave Gravity Storm a lot fo visibility at launch, but people don't seem to be that interested in buying the game here. This makes me consider taking down the full game and only having the demo available here, so I don't have to worry about updating the itchio version; However, we'll seen how thing change over the next few weeks.

Silksong? I really doubt Silksong destroyed my sales, it's a very different game and it's not even on itchio. I do think it has a negative effect on my game's visibility on Steam , but not a significant one.
