firstly, thanks everyone for playing (and reading this). it's been awesome to see everyone enjoy the game (we are sitting at 500 browser plays total which is about 500 more than I expected). as you may or may not know, I'm working on the game only one day a week, and I'm not able to push out updates as often as I'd like. that being said, I have a big update for you all. notes are below, broken up into content, qol, bugfixes, and future plans:
added bleeg (get to day 20 to see what he does)
added new mineral corundum (careful!)
added an option to mute the sound from getting a hit with blue
made all locations appear naturally as you play
major balancing changes to even things out a little
made inventory only show one mineral at a time
added 'hold to close' text for new mineral popup
lengthened the map and added a little deco (more planned)
fixed kyanite not doing anything
fixed mineral discovery being all whack
hopefully fixed all softlocks
fixed feedback button not working when demo is completed
there's still a lot of bugfixing, balancing, and qol that needs work. plus, the backend needs some cleaning up in order to make sure working on the project stays sustainable over the next year or so. I have heaps of ideas for new content too.
next update expect: small fixes and changes while I refactor some backend systems
later updates expect: new early game content. I'm choosing between a new hit effect, a 'relic' system to further customise builds, or some risk/reward mechanics. let me know what you think!
