Dev Log Week 23: Turning Super Saiyan

Okay, maybe I didn’t quite get over 9000, but I did manage to bash out 205 renders this week, which means I’m almost finished with the Charlie date night. Honestly, it’s been a blast working through this scene. I couldn’t even rest knowing I had more renders in me.

Of course, not every week can be like this. If it was, I’d burn out fast and probably end up permanently sleeping on the sofa. But every once in a while, these storming weeks are exactly what I need to close the gap on my goals.

Looking ahead, I plan to finish the Charlie scene, wrap up some writing, and build the final new environment I’ll need for the Max date night.

The chapter as a whole is really starting to come together. I’m sitting at 1,595 renders right now, and being just 5 short of 1,600 physically hurts me.

Thanks again for all the kind words people have been sending. I know some of you are worried about burnout, and I get it. The truth is I don’t really function in a way that lets me rest until I absolutely need to. When that time comes, I’ll take the break. But for now, it’s full steam ahead.

Short one this week, got to get back to work. As a wise man once said, I’ll catch you on the next one.
