AGDG Demo Day 64 changelog

Main Features

  • Campaign Mode: Playable, includes the first version of full Stage 1.
  • Arcade Mode: Playable, includes the first version of full Stage 1 with infinite lives (resource systems not yet implemented).

Missing Features (Coming to next build)

  • Bomb
  • Item Collection & Resource System
  • Arcade mode player lives & resources handling. Currently, Arcade mode has infinite respawns. Only for this release!
  • Score System
  • HUD Elements
  • Various Menu issues. Especially with sound.

Main Features Added

  • Arcade Mode with full Stage 1
  • Campaign Mode Stage 1 boss
  • Campaign Mode difficulty adjustments
  • Improved controller remapping backend with analog stick support
  • Player weapons balancing
  • Bullet system backend overhaul (less visible to players, but more stable)
  • Shoot + lock button combination bypasses arcade-style button-tap timer

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed stage restart from pause menu during player death
  • Pausing during player death no longer causes issues
  • Improved menu screen transitions and screen fade; fixed numerous menu-related bugs
  • Bullets now respect pause menu functionality
  • Resolved various controller mapping issues
  • Global bullet clear now works as intended
  • Fixed minor bugs related to player lock shot
