Hey duck tamers! Big milestone today: we’re officially in beta 🥚✨.
This version introduces major new systems that push the game beyond simple egg-clicking into a full idle/collection experience.
Each day, you’ll get 3 fresh objectives to chase.
Examples: “Lay 500 eggs,” “Hatch 2 rares,” or “Own 20 ducks.”
Completing quests rewards egg bundles or temporary buffs to keep your flock busy.
You can now pair two ducks to produce something stronger (or weirder).
Sometimes the child inherits one parent, sometimes you’ll hatch a hybrid, and once in a while… a Legendary appears 👀.
This is the start of deeper duck genetics & hybrids planned for the future.
Your name now proudly displays your duck keeper status:
0–9 ducks → Duckling Wrangler
10–49 → Flock Keeper
50–199 → Egg Baron
200+ → Duck Emperor 👑
Ranks update automatically as your flock grows.
Added several secret unlocks:
Lucky Duck — breed a Legendary
Eggsactly — finish with exactly 1234 eggs
Quack Master — collect every species
They won’t show up until you discover them. Good luck hunting!
New buttons in the Actions panel:
Feed Ducks → Spend eggs to temporarily boost EPS.
Golden Egg Lottery → Gamble for a big payout (tiny chance for instant Legendary!).
Autosave still works, now with better offline progress handling.
Achievement panel updated with ✅ unlocked/🔒 locked visuals.
UI polish — smoother stat updates & toast notifications.
Expanding the breeding system with unique hybrids.
More quest variety & seasonal events.
A proper endgame prestige ladder with new currencies.
Balancing EPS values so the grind feels rewarding but not overwhelming.
The game’s now in a state where you can play daily, chase goals, and experiment with ducks beyond simple hatching. Thanks to everyone giving feedback — every quack counts! 🦆
