Hey everyone! π
Iβm excited to release House Crafter 1.0, a modular building tool for Unity developers who want to create stylized homes and structures quickly and intuitively.
Whether youβre working on a city builder, a simulation game, or just need flexible house-building tools, House Crafter makes the process smooth and expandable.
House Crafter V1.0- Modular Building Designer | Game Toolkits | Unity Asset Store
House Crafter is designed to let you build modular houses either:
Manually β place, rotate, and snap parts into place with floor-level control.
Automatically β generate complete houses at the press of a button using random patterns and height algorithms.
Itβs built with modularity and workflow speed in mind, making it great for prototyping, full projects, or world-building.
π‘ The tool will be updated bi-weekly with new features, improvements, and occasional price adjustments. You can follow the Roadmap to see whatβs coming next!
Hereβs what you get right now in the first release:
𧱠11 Modular Building Parts across 7 categories (walls, roofs, floors, doors, etc.)
ποΈ Auto House Generation β generate houses instantly with a random layout/height algorithm.
π οΈ Manual Building System β precise placement & rotation with snapping + floor-level control.
πΎ Save as Prefab β save your structures for easy reuse in scenes.
π§ Floor Selector Dropdown β quickly switch active floors during building.
π§ Extra Modular Parts β not auto-generated (yet) but great for detailing manually.
The next update will expand building options and refine the workflow:
β 10+ New Modular Parts (walls, roofs, special pieces).
π€ Smarter Auto-Generation Algorithm β more believable house layouts.
𧱠Interior Upgrade β stairs, supports, and interior-only pieces.
π οΈ Better Manual Building UX β improved snapping, controls, and UI.
π¨ Advanced Coloring Tool β paint material slots by clicking directly on the model.
π§ Extra Manual-Only Parts β unique building assets, later integrated into generation.
