πŸ“’ Devlog 

Hey survivors!
This update brings several improvements to the inventory, new systems, and even brand-new zombie mechanics. Here’s the breakdown:

🧰 Inventory & Items

  • General improvements and optimizations.

  • Fixed small bugs related to collecting ammo.

  • Now, if you have nothing equipped, picking up a weapon from the chest will automatically equip it.

  • Changed the way items are taken from the chest:

    • Before: dragging an item onto an occupied slot would swap them.

    • Now: dragging an item places it directly into the first empty slot.

  • New items added:

    • 🍞 Moldy bread

    • πŸ’§ Water

    • 🍫 Cereal bar

    • 🍟 Potato chips

    • 🍫 Chocolate bar

🧟 Zombies – New State

  • Zombies can now spawn asleep in the world.

  • They wake up if:

    • The player enters their frontal vision at medium distance.

    • The player makes loud noises (e.g., firing a gun).

πŸ—¨οΈ NPCs & Quests

  • Updated the system for individual dialogues with each NPC.

  • Started implementing the definitive quest system.

  • The first example of this can already be seen with Dr. Voss.
