Hey everyone !
Work on 0.5 has officially begun. This update will, of course, bring new story content — including the aftermath of Elana’s night and the long-awaited dialogue with the Master — but its main goal is to introduce a brand-new feature (well… more like a complete overhaul of my old system): The Encyclopaedia.
After all the trouble I had with my previous “character page” (basically a bug every five seconds), I decided it was time to build something better. During my research, I came across the Encyclopaedia Framework by jsfehler on itch — an amazing tool that gave me the perfect starting point.

Of course, it still needs a lot of tweaking to fit my adjustments… which means back to complex coding (and a lot of head-scratching, since I don’t understand half of it yet).
This new system will serve as an in-game codex where you can track lore, characters, and key concepts of the world. It’s modular, so I’ll be able to expand it progressively as the story unfolds. This first week has mostly been about laying the groundwork.
The idea is not just to provide information, but also to reward exploration and progression. In future updates, some entries will unlock only through specific choices, affection levels, or events.
In the coming weeks, I’ll keep filling the Encyclopaedia with initial content, polishing the visuals, and figuring out how to update entries dynamically through events and variables (wish me luck).
At the same time, I’ll continue pushing the main story forward. Once stable and fully populated, this system should become a cornerstone feature for all players who love digging into lore.
I also started playing around with the new Blender 4.5. It comes with a lot of cool features that I’m experimenting with, and I feel almost confident enough to create a whole new event in a few weeks.
I just hope there is not some kind of spooky international event coming soon…
