It's still the middle route for now.
If you try to continue past that, you actually kinda can, but it's really buggy and unfinished.
Anyways, here's what changed:
SPOILERS AHEAD - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
## Intro Patch Notes:
- Some minor text fixes.
- Nell's Rising Flame passive will now notify you when you're at max stacks in the status effect box. No more forgetting!
- Hurricane is now Rumble, also deals more damage.
- Fire Spear now has a douse icon instead of a flame icon.
- At the crossroads, set the save door exit position to actually be in front of the door.
- The Overseer now appears a bit differently, just because previously it looked like a bad attempt at a jump scare.
- Set tutorials to be much more separated (HUGE).
- A micro tutorial is shown to the player upon receiving any unique status ailment for the first time (ALSO HUGE).
- Overseer is far less wordy (sorry for the slow beginnings!).
## Middle Route Patch Notes:
- Changed the name of the Rusty Key to ||Charity's Key|| and added the ability to return it once the path forward was unlocked.
- Added a notification for when you pick up objects at 3:00 (both in the depths and at the first encounter).
- Temperance will now reference ||the incident.||
- Fixed an easter egg where a certain developer would jumpscare you too easily so now it's more unlikely for someone to find it.
- All bosses' gimmicks are explained briefly during their fights. No more questioning why you're suddenly dead!
- Added new foley audio effects from loneconstruct.itch.io
- Fixed BGM issues after the final boss that would occur when trying to backtrack.
