Version 1.2 released
Peng Wars 1.2 has been released!
This update brings with it a lot of new systems and content for the game, which will be expanded upon even more in future updates.
What's New
- Added Special Stages, which can be played after chapter 1 is cleared. These include:
- The four Special Stages Challenge maps, which will test your ability to play with special conditions like a fixed lineup, a limited amount of money to spend, or varied costs and cooldowns for your Pengs. Clear them to win valuable items like Special Stage Keys, Golden Fish, and even a real new Peng!
- The Temple of Awakening will open once you've cleared the Ruined Castle map of the Pengiverse. Here, Crystals of Awakening can be found — for those brave enough to face what lies within...
- Added the Endless Gauntlet mode, which can be played after chapter 2 is cleared. Take on a succession of levels that get progressively more challenging, and earn lots of EXP!
- Added final forms for three of the Common Pengs! Once they've reached level 20, these Pengs can be evolved using EXP, Golden Fish, and Crystals of Awakening. (Don't worry, the other Common Pengs will get theirs in future updates.)
- Added three new Pengs to collect!
- Added three new enemies to do battle with!
- Added a new Pengiverse map, Across the Darkened Ocean, with 6 new levels.
- Rogue Run has been made easier; the hitbox size on Eyesopods has been nerfed.
- Fixed bugs, particularly display bugs relating to different screen sizes.
EDIT: A bug where the Energy Shot ability had game-crashing behavior has just been identified and hotfixed. If this bug occurs, please redownload. (Thanks to Criti for letting me know!)
