Nearly all of the assets are finished—the map has been laid out, the story has been written, and the features have been implemented. What largely remains now is polish and balancing, which, unfortunately, I didn’t have time for this week.
The mountains are essentially an optional endgame dungeon, but they’re not the end—that will come later. I’m trying to strike a careful balance where the goblin tribes are a formidable threat, but not on the same level as the final boss.
Part of the challenge is that the goblin wilderness is a gauntlet, filled with enemies, traps, and minibosses. They need to be tougher than regular mobs, but not so weak that they just become XP fodder.
I’ll be working on that throughout the weekend and aim to have it ready by next week.
