RogueBlock (working title) V0.2.2 patch notes!
SUMMARY
This update focuses on
- visual improvements, mainly in battles
- incorporating feedback received from people playing the game.
- tweaks and balance changes, mainly with the goal of slightly lowering the difficulty of extreme mode. (which was a little too extreme even for me)
GENERAL CHANGES
- Enabled itch.io fullscreen button when playing in browser
- Renamed AB_1 -> Ability 1 in keybind menu (same for AB_2 and AB_3)
RELICS
GAMEPLAY CHANGES
- The projectiles fired by the Onion now bounce off the left and right walls of the battlefield.
- Mushroom enemy base HP lowered (100 -> 80)
- Flower enemy base HP lowered (110 -> 100)
- ‘Lock On’ bullets no longer target Piranha while it’s submerged
- Piranha attacks are slightly faster in extreme mode
- Heal point restore percentage in extreme mode increased (25% -> 50%)
VISUAL CHANGES
- Some enemy attacks now have new particle effects.
- All objects you can interact with are now highlighted with a yellow outline when you are standing next to them. This used to be the case for only chests.
- Recolored bite attack of Piranha to white, since the previous color was too close to the cyan color that indicates an attack can be dashed through.
SFX CHANGES
- Added confirmation sound when changing difficulty
- Added different sound effect when hitting the Hermit Crab enemy while it’s invulnerable
