Version 0.6.6
This release focuses around a visual overhaul to many areas of the game.
New Features
- New puppet tier added, Merciless.
- Added two new trophies.
Visual Changes
- Backgrounds now move slightly along with the mouse movement.
- All buttons in the game now have extra visual effects.
- Main menu now shows the last played character, with a quick continue button.
- Player images in main menu, player preview, and statistics screen now show the equipped artefacts and talismans on the player image.
- Combat has many new effects.
- Techniques of each school now have a custom attack animation.
- Added screen shake on big hits.
- Added larger knockback animations.
- The world map nodes now have a new design.
- World map node connections now have an animation.
- Colours for text has been tweaked to be more authentic (no more glaring purple).
- Quality effect has been reworked to handle high quality counts better, and to have a more interesting animation.
Changes
- Some pillar shards now cost pillar stability to set. This means that some of the more powerful shards require balancing their cost.
- Move speed now applies to the entire journey when selecting a node multiple steps away.
- Qi gained from crafting reduced.
- Sell value of pills slightly reduced.
- Crafting difficulty in body forging and meridian opening increased slightly.
- Made it possible to back out of the new game screen.
- Made the passive puppet have a LOT more health and damage reduction.
Balance Changes
- Storm Surge Generator damage nerfed.
- Added caps to Compressed Plate/Armour to prevent infinite stacking.
- Added cap to Thundercallers focus power buff stacks.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed many typos.
- Reworked the stellar crafting actions to make the 'nova' more explicit.
- Fixed Ru Gong echo event to be in the correct month.
- Fixed qi pool reduction from equipment actually causing an increase in qi costs.
- Fixed softlock when mystial region has no un-acquired rewards in the pool.
- Fixed damage reduction not applying to corrupt damage.
- Reworked Failsafe Protocol description to mention it doesn't apply to true damage.
- Clicking new game no longer creates a corrupt save.
