Tiny Terra Space - A cosy builder with a Scottish theme twist

Tiny Terra Spaces
A browser game made in HTML5

Hey everyone!

One big adjustment in building my own assets (vs using packs in my two previous projects) is how much more time it takes. With packs, I could code + tweak for a day and quickly have something to share. Now, creating art takes longer, importing often needs edits, and sometimes I redo things until it finally looks right. At first, I panicked—felt rusty even—but I’m actually enjoying this slower, more hands-on process of building everything from scratch for Tiny Terra Spaces.

I’m not the best artist and I’m learning as I go, but I feel like Tiny Terra Spaces is really coming together and heading in a direction I’m proud of. I’m still not doing everything myself—audio and sound effects come from packs—but seeing my first draft of an NPC Scot sitting on a rock in the scene feels incredibly rewarding.

✨ Here’s what I’m focusing on in the next update:

  • Upgraded art assets for more atmosphere

  • New audio + satisfying feedback when placing buildings

  • Particle effects to make construction feel tactile + fun

  • First introduction of NPC villagers (with more iterations coming soon!)
