Abyss Ascent isn’t just a roguelike—it’s a descent into a pre-collapse world where reality bends, and survival means adaptation. This devlog peels back the veil on the world beneath the surface, where every wave is more than combat—it’s a test of identity, memory, and transformation.
Earth, 2030. A relatively small planet in the vast universe, now entering a volatile phase of forced evolution. Mana, once dormant, has awakened violently—an alien energy that reshapes biology, physics, and consciousness. Its arrival wasn’t gradual. It was a rupture.
