Version 0.3.1-alpha
After some recent playtesting sessions, another major gameplay update is coming to you with version 0.3.1-alpha! The goal of the update is to add a bit more agency to the early game, improve balancing and add some extra support to some strategies.
Changelog
- Water attacks are reworked to only deal half as much damage to yourself.
- Some card tier costs have been changed: 16->17, 22->25.
- Buffed Multitasking God to draw 2 cards instead of 1.
- Buffed Exploration God to give 2 mana instead of 1.
- Buffed No Half Measures to make the reroll on 3, 4, 5 or 6 optional, instead of forced.
- Buffed Worth the Wait to also draw 1 card. (This does not block exploration type cards from working, they now say “immediate draw spell”.)
- Made Big Handed be a 17 cost (instead of 22->25 cost).
- Nerfed Trading Vessels to longer give 2 gold on buy.
- Added 17 cost Magic Blast: “Deal 3 * Magic damage to the opponent.”
- Added 25 cost Elemental Storm: “Deal Water + Fire + Earth + Chance damage to your opponent; deal half as much (rounded up) to yourself; opponent shields affect self damage.” (yes technically this card can reach 224 damage to the opponent with the full set of buffs…)
- Added 17 cost Blooming Wetlands: “Restore Nature + Water + Earth HP.”
- Added 25 cost Auric Orchard: “Restore Nature + Gold HP and gain that much additional gold”
- Added starter card Handy Telescope (Blessing): “Draw a card.” (can be used for a bit of deck manipulation.)
