The free demo of Trust Fall is available now! Created by me and Gabriel Robinson for the August issue of Sprigs and Kindling, this demo contains everything you need to play out a mystery in 2-3 sessions of a couple hours each. Back in the 90s when you were high schoolers, you formed The Circle, a group of misfits who dabbled in the occult and got in way over your heads. Like, way way over your heads. You contacted a dark power you didn't fully understand. Someone died.
It's been 30 years, and you've tried to put your dark past behind you. But all these years later, someone—or something—is after you.
Trust Fall adapts the Carved from Brindlewood system to use a shared deck of playing cards. It injects new ways for players to reveal unwelcome pieces of their past and use them to betray each other. We hope you enjoy.
Trust Fall is still in active development, so this demo may not reflect the game's final form.
