Hello, everyone!
It's already been over two-and-a-half months since the Kosmos Connections Concept Demo released, and I couldn't be happier with the response! Given that it was meant to be only a small showcase of the world and ideas, I must admit that despite its imperfections from a narrative standpoint, it did give me time to reflect on the full game and take into account what could be improved.
I know that feedback can be very harsh, perhaps a bit menial in some cases, but I truly appreciate every critique the demo has received, as it only helped me improve my writing and quality for this upcoming demo.
With that said, I have delisted the concept demo for now, and I do have my reasons for doing so:
1) Since it no longer accurately represents what KC's story will be like, I want to avoid confusion for when the inevitable Kickstarter goes live following the full game demo.
2) The next demo is objectively a much better experience to play through, especially for your first time. Considering less than 100 people downloaded and played the concept demo, I would like to leave a much better impression for those who did not play it, as well as exceed expectations for those who have played the concept demo. You won't see the exact same story beats, the concept demo is commentated on a tiny bit, but most importantly, this will pretty much be what I imagine the beginning of KC to be like. Minor quality of life and title screen improvements aside.
Thank you so much for your understanding, and I hope that you all look forward to the full game's demo when it launches by the end of the year!
Take care, you guys!
