Now for some recent-ish and super cool updates:

Llama and Slime Bosses

The long-awaited new bosses have arrived! 

They might look cute, but can you dodge their deadly fire meteors, ice pillars, revolving fireballs, projectiles, arm smashes, AND MORE? Sounds pretty difficult to us...

Environment Color Theming

We added some pizzazz as you progress through your run - map palettes now change depending on the round number.

GIANT Shopkeeper

The bigger the cat, the more magical. That’s just how it works.

We also made their spawns more accessible!

If you’re the first player to discover a new spell, your Steam ID now shows in its tooltip.

Frog Mini Boss

MINI boss but MEGA abilities.

Metaprogression

Boss damage now scales over time. 

You can unlock new difficulty levels after beating Round 21:

Novice → Apprentice → Initiate → Acolyte → Mage → Master Mage → Archmage

Other New Features

• Monsters-Killed Gold Charge Bar: Kill thresholds at 20, 40, 60, and 80 percent of a round's total spawn power. Earn 1 gold per threshold. Kill 80 percent, get 4 gold.
• Blink Spell: Teleporting Cat? Teleporting Cat.
• Training Dummy: Spawns in the starting world and after each round ends.
• Monster Spawn Indicator: No more jumpscares when enemies appear  - indicators are now shown on the ground.
• Key Bindings: Fully customizable in the options menu.
• UI Animations: Made the UI more interactive and intuitive! For example, when you pick up an arcana, there is a glowing animation around your arcana equip slots. Our favorite is the slot up animation which teases you a bit if it fails.
