So i'll get right in, this is my very first devlog for my game A matter of gravity made for the lore of platformers jam and coincidentally trijam.
Where to begin , the game had soo many glitches in the first build ranging from a glitch were the player could continue jumping without touching any platforms as long as they held the mouse button down while jumping but overall the experience was great and i feel i have improved from my first game Obstacle hop which was also made for a game jam.
Advice to any beginner devs making platformers similar to Amog don't just jump into making levels in your editor, first plan them out somewhere even a piece of paper is okay that way you have a solid draft of what you want to achieve. Believe me i've made some really cool levels in my head, jump into the editor & 10 minutes later forget what i wanted to make in the first place so just plan ahead is what i'm trying to say and have fun .
