The game was developed from start to finish in two days.
The hardest part of the entire process was incorporating an idea to make the game replayable as is while also leaving the ability to implement more features later on.
Because of the limited time, the scope of the game scope is pretty small, as you can see.
During development, the idea of pickup buffs, weapons, and other abilities was scoped out. These included:
Some enemies were also ditched, such as:
Maybe at some point in the future, I'll implement all of these features and add a boss fight with environmental puzzles, which was also scoped out in favour of an endless mode.
