Project Overview: Our school game project is a collaborative effort between students at Minus One from various disciplines, including programming, game design, and art. The game is a 3D game where the player controls a fire navigating through different levels filled with obstacles and trees that can be burned. The game is relatively more than half way complete and should be entirely finished near the end the semester.
(This is what the game looks like so far, as you can see, the player can burn the surrounding environment which is one of the game's key features).
Progress Update: As the 3D artist on the team, I've been working on creating assets for the game's levels, including terrain, vegetation, and structures. I've completed the modeling and texturing of several key elements, such as shrubs and fences. These assets will be used to create immersive and visually appealing environments for the player to explore. My primary focus has been on creating and refining the visual assets for the game. Over the past week, I've made significant progress in several key areas; creating shrub asset for the game using advanced modifiers in my 3D modeling software. I've made sure the topology of this asset is clean and efficient for use within the game. The same goes for the fence, which I received help from my partner, Davide.

(The image above shows the finalized fence, which will be used in the game).
