A new top-down 2D farming game is now in development! It's a Stardew Valley-like game that is being developed in Unity. Before I reveal anything else, I'd like to give credit to those that deserve it. This is my first time using Unity, so I am using a very helpful tutorial series by JacquelynnHei to learn the basics of game dev with the engine. The game assets (that I have a paid license to) are by Shubibubi, and the specific packs are the Cozy Farm and Cozy People (though, I will likely purchase more assets, and will give updated credit in that event).
With that out of the way, here are some of the things that I'd like to share about my game! It'll have a lot of the same mechanics as Stardew Valley (at least the ones I can code lol), and the few that'll be in the first alpha release will be: farming, mining, and crafting. I'll try my best to announce updates ahead of time, as well as their likely release date and content. I'll try to have a bit of a release out soon, but it'll be most likely limited to just the farm, and not be that fleshed out, it'll be more of a tiny taste of gameplay. When I do finish this tiny release, I'll create a game page for it in my profile, and put all my devlogs there. I hope you all enjoy it when it releases!
