It's that time again!
First off, a quick announcement: Come November, I will be leaving my website hosting provider. If you notice any weirdness with getting to my website, it's because I'm transitioning away from the old provider. I don't expect too much issue but you never know.
It's an otherwise pretty quiet month, all things considered. So, let's get into updates.
The first round of edits for Book Two is over!
What does this mean? Well, the next step is to do some content edits before going back and doing grammatical edits. There are a lot of spots in this book that need a bit of help.
This may mean the next installment will be out a bit later than anticipated, but we're still on track for a 2026 release date! As a solo writer, editor, and designer, I appreciate everyone's patience with the process!
After plotting out the rest of the first season, it hit me -- this is no longer a short story series. This has now become a middle reader series.
I'm not too sure how I want to approach releasing this with that in mind. Initially I was thinking to release each section of each episode as it was written. Now, I think I may treat this as a much bigger project and release seasons once they're completely finished.
I still have to actually write the first episode, so for now...no plans on how to release it. Just know we're cooking!
Some of you may know about the series I do on my blog that investigates New Age and Neo-Wiccan spiritual topics. I recently finished a multi-part profile on Swami Vivekananda and since then the project has been on hold. It took quite a bit out of me to do the research and writing for that series, so I needed a bit of a break.
That said, I've been percolating on ideas of where to go from here. Stay tuned for more! I'm currently gathering source material and getting ready to head back to the books.
Lastly, Twitch talk!
Not too much exciting happening on Twitch at the moment. Our first two bonus streams have been so much fun and we're continuing to make progress in our achievement quest in Blue Prince. We're definitely back in our low-key chill stream era. So if that sounds like a good time, come join us!
Our upcoming bonus streams for September will be: 9/11 and 9/25. Otherwise, I'm live every Sunday at 1830EST!
