It's not going well

I released a new game called “Chara Talent Agency” and as I had expected, things aren’t going well. Since itch.io no longer indexes adult games, the game had a lot less visibility. It had 4,500 views in its first week, whereas Chara Upgrades had over 200,000 in its first week. It means significantly fewer sales and almost zero new fans (who may buy my previous games). It somewhat feels like I made the game for nothing.

So, the solution would be to promote the game more. Sadly, there is another problem. Right now, Stripe can’t be used for adult games on itch, and therefore, you can’t pay using a credit card. If you can’t use PayPal, then you can’t buy the premium code. I feel weird about promoting a game that many people can’t buy.

Finally, there is the payout problem. My payout is late, like for many other developers. It’s summer, and I can understand that itch.io has a lot to deal with right now, so I’ll just wait for now and contact them only when it’s very late. They likely lost a great deal of revenue, but I don’t think they are going bankrupt. However, hearing that the best-selling developer on the platform (vintage story) no longer accepts payments because Itch.io owes them too much money… it kinda worries me a little.

So, is it time for me to be downcast? No, it’s time to be positive. First, I’ll take a break. I have an S-tier idea for the next game, and it should be a fun game with gameplay. Chara Talent Agency is still a good game; I believe it can do well later. The pictures are great, better than my other games. The only problem is that the temptation system can be a little confusing. But there is only one thing to know in the end: Give your girls contracts they accept and contracts they refuse because they are too shy (shy emoji), and in no time, she will want to level up and do lewder contracts. I’ve updated Chara Injector as well with the pictures I had ready for a while. Since those are pictures that I made a while ago, they aren’t as good as the newer ones. I also improved other things.
