Hey everyone! 👋
We’ve been hard at work on our emotional adventure game for the first ever Imaginary Game Studios Mini Jam (https://itch.io/jam/imaginary-game-minijam-august-2025), and things are really coming together. Our focus is on creating a game that feels personal, immersive, and emotionally resonant—a place where your choices and actions genuinely matter in shaping your experience. It's a tragic story through the eyes of a child and should be handled and read with care. The theme of the game jam is 'The Last Day'
What’s Coming:
Interactive Storytelling: Players can engage with the world in meaningful ways, influencing tone and emotional connection through simple but powerful mechanics.
Expression & Exploration: The game encourages you to explore your environment and express yourself through your actions, giving each playthrough a slightly different feel. It will also feature multiple endings based on the choices chosen throughout the game.
Why We’re Excited:
This project is all about creating moments that linger—moments that make you think, feel, and reflect. We’re building something that’s intimate and immersive, but also universal in the emotions it touches.
Next Steps:
We’ll be expanding the world, adding more interactive elements, and refining the audio and visual layers to deepen immersion. Soon, we’ll start playtesting to see how the experience feels in real hands—and to make it even more impactful.
We only have three days so we'll be working our tails off to bring you something unique and touching.
