The game cannot load my old save file for some reason. The error says permission error or something, which is strange because the game can create and new save files but it can't load my old save files.
I just wanted to know if this is intentional or not.
This is very confusing. How can it be a permission error when the game can read and write files without any problems.
It has no problem reading a save file that the game created but it doesn't do that for the old save files. I think it's either a version compatibility issue or just android being buggy.
So, unsure if you figured out the issue, but in some cases when you go to update a renpy game in mobile it can have some weird errors take place. My best example from experience is when I downloaded an update for a different game that refused to update the game, then the next update just installed a completely new game file (basically duplicating the game files with a new one) and the new one couldn't grab the save of the old file. Had to just start over entirely as well, because the save files were incompatible.
I bring up this example not as a "this is how you fix it" but a "I hope it isn't this bad for you" example of how fucky these games can be on Android ._.
Also, my old save files doesn't seem to have a "thumbnail?" Or whatever the picture that appears on the save slot.
It quite obvious that it can't seem to read my old save files, which I don't know if it's a compatibility issue? I could only guess cuz I am no game dev lol
Can we heal Gwen from her injuries? She doesn't deserve this after we technically ruined her life and also Chloe shes really scared the moment she saw us railing Gwen even until now when you read her mind.
Maybe add an alt ending where the mc sets the girls free one by one which they stay or leave depending how you treated them during the story.
This is just an recommended alt ending or optional thing beyond the ending , don't really want you to rewrite your plans since its your game anyway.
Arguably, no one deserves to have bad things happen to them.
But that’s life for you. Robin - that is, the protagonist - needed a wake up call. Gwen too, but guess she got the short end of the stick this time.
From the way it’s painted tho, the injury isn’t meant to be healed. At least not any time soon.
But Arc is a bit of a softie sometimes, so it will probably happen.
Specially if you take into account that we’re supposed to get her preggernet at some point.
And regarding the powers.
It’s going to be a big part of the story for Gwen and Chloe in act 3.
Can we undo what we did to them? And if so, should we?
Whole argument of “Would you rather be free and miserable or enslaved but happy”.
Yeah you're right, maybe pixie is still depressed, Jessica is still working from the Org against her will, also who knows what happened to Alice if Chloe's burnt with the Org or became a puppet. And maybe we saved Gwen's fiance or maybe Gwen's just slightly overdosed from awaken.
Also the awakened girls is not entirely a slave, Robin just give them what they want the most. But shatter is the real deal.
Btw if we f Chloe is it considered a 4some since there are three people in Chloe's body? Also maybe Chloe's is not scared but maybe sad or overwhelmed with emotions because her best friend betrayed the Org and is now her enemy.
But i have high hopes that we can recover Gwen from her injuries after all Gramps is powerful, maybe the scientist has a purpose, maybe Lyx's slight drop of insanity will lead us somewhere
Update idea act two town toggle switch. Like I know the whole thing with the lasypt quest is that it won't be the same afterwards but I still feel like a toggle would be a good idea you could have it as a laptop thing as well.

You have to confront the charecters in the correct order. Meaning you get the evidence from some charecters by confronting others. (some keep the same picture wich is a little confusing)
One question is how can I activate the event with Jessica's daughter or does this one not have one since the other girls do have their event with their children but I can't find where Jessica's is?

I think you’re going to the lake on the Explore thing.
The lake to meditate you find by doing the main quest with Gramps.
At some point he asks you to find a pigeon and it will unlock the lake in the mountains map.
If you haven’t visited Gramps, check if there’s a note in the garden.
Then talk to him and do the training.

I've never heard of this issue on PC before... it sounds like your drivers are out of date, and they're unable to read the .webm files. Make sure your OS is fully updated and your video drivers are all up to date. I can't point you towards the necessary resources, I'm afraid, as I don't know your PC's specs.
Who's the girl with the sword in college? It seems to appear only at the very beginning of college and when and after the finals, when you arrange checks.

There's no skipping function as there are thousands and thousands of variables and it would take all my time to make (and players about 30 minutes to click through all the "did you do X, Y or Z" options). If it doesn't exist in AAA games, assume it doesn't exist in games made by a solo dev ;)
There's also no reason to skip, usually. Your saves are automatically transferred to each new version so you can just pick up where you left off.
I just don’t have a very good phone and there is no free space on it to store the game until the next update, I would store it if I had a computer or more memory on the phone

I have got an unrelated question, actually (It was ages ago since I started the game, so if there is an instruction, I don't remember it), does awaken/shatter have impacts on the story itself, and does Kind/Cruel have a long term impact on the character interactions?
I'm a solo dev, so I can't really do hugely branching storylines, but your decisions to Awaken/Shatter or to be Kind/Cruel do have an impact on dialogue, certain reactions, and as the storyline progresses (and I don't need to worry as much about creating unmanageably huge branches) the impact will become more prominent :)
That being said, you're not going to be "punished" for your choices. Neither the game nor myself is interested in enacting any moral judgements. Just be aware that you'll get the ending(s) you aim for!
You download the apk and when you click the download it should be like "staging app" or smth but then you agree to download it and boom you got it (I can record if you need it)
The lake's limit should be bypassed once you've talken to Qarinah. Do her heart card stuff as it requires you to meditate, which will raise your insight.
Make sure you have all the Hallowe'en decorations active in your room (Coffin Bed, Jack o' Lantern decoration and Witch Poster) and then sleep. It might take a few nights to trigger if other events interrupt it :)
During act one the succubus girl appeared and i got a lead to reaserch. When act two started I lost it, apparently the succubus is supposed to appear in the characters dreams and then we can meet the council members but she isint showing up. Is there something I have to do first?

I keep reading comments that there were, but in arc three of version 20.4, after completing all of the content (clearing the forest, can't attack company building or church, and I'm assuming that is all of the content) there still hasn't been any further dungeon scenes like previous comments have mentioned. it's kind of barking on the wrong tree.. i won't say im pissed off but why so many ppl come to mind control game and ask for consensual/ vanilla stuff.. and yes if i have to say this is still considered mild/ very .. if you want to do it the normal way get a proper vanilla game with normal relationship.. there's no need to harden/slow the progress of the creator by adding which is tbh unrelated to the story setting well this is my opinion at least.. meanwhile in vanilla content game when ppl ask for more domination or stuff along this line they act like they are disgusted.. i mean let's stick to the right place

Well, that’s the thing.
A permission error would be a problem with your device, that for some reason isn’t allowing you to READ files but allows you to WRITE them.
I don’t know if you’re on Windows, Linux or Mac. But it might be that the game can’t access the secondary save location.
WHERE ARE SAVES LOCATED ON PC?

WHERE ARE SAVES LOCATED ON LINUX?
I’d say, check the permissions for those folders.
I'm on Android lol. The file is in android/data/com.domain.corruptedkingdoms.
The game can write a save file and read it no problem. But it somehow cannot read my old save files. Any ideas on why that is?

Making the player able to go from act 3 into act 2 would be a massive headache, specially if they want to go back into act 3 later.
Just keep a save on act 2.

No, she’s act 2.
Her nexus drops you in a cave, with a candle that’s unlit.
You need to go back to your world, buy matches and then light the candle.
The flame tells you where to go.
PS: It’s an actual maze, takes a few steps to get there the first time.

You don’t get those options, they’re meant to be a tease of options you should get in the future.
But consider that part of the game was written over 4 years ago.

As for the volleyball girls, you need two powers (you get them from Lyx) to trigger their scene.

That lead doesn’t do much during act 1.
During act 2, after progressing a bit with Pixie you unlock a way to meet her again.

Nope, dungeon is in a state where it’s almost being removed from the game.
Hard to justify it, people didn’t like the implementation it had back then before the combat system changed.
It’s a mess.

Are you sure you’re on the same save.
Because Julie will not appear if you didn’t meet her during act 2.
And you meet her in act 2 by banging Renee on the event you meet her.

You can cheat currency and unlock the gallery after you reach act 2.
The cheats are in the laptop on the protagonist’s bedroom.
Can’t cheat progression, too messy. Editing variables will most likely break your save and we won’t help you with that.

No, most characters you can’t get without using powers.
It’s kind of the main schtick about the game.
Although some mind control enjoyers would argue that it’s really mild.
As it turns out, mind control is not that fun to write if you actually want to tell a story :P
it's kind of barking on the wrong tree.. i won't say im pissed off but why so many ppl come to mind control game and ask for consensual/ vanilla stuff.. and yes if i have to say this is still considered mild/ very .. if you want to do it the normal way get a proper vanilla game with normal relationship.. there's no need to harden/slow the progress of the creator by adding which is tbh unrelated to the story setting well this is my opinion at least.. meanwhile in vanilla content game when ppl ask for more domination or stuff along this line they act like they are disgusted.. i mean let's stick to the right place
