Thinking that Sal is Creole as descendant from slaves (brought to Loui by French) is plausible, but his name (Breaux) might also hint that he's an arcadian-mi'kmaq, or related to such. If it isn't offensive to ask, could you clarrify such or the idea behind Sal. Salvator is quite a spanish name, yes? Perhaps it is related to spanish allegiance of France in Arcadian deportation? (I thought this might not be a spoiler, so I wanted to ask.)

my husband is cajun and nola born so he names a lot of characters just off people he had met or grew up around, im sorry haha we didnt do extensive research, its just based off life experience instead XD tho tate/sal are part of the Houma natives (an unrecognized tribe), but at the point of time the games take place, names are just names and its pretty much the same as a normal irl person naming their kid something random that sounds good
our parents gave no thought or cultural significance to our names when we were born so most of the characters we make are similar in that respect

download the game and then extract it to your desktop. open the new folder and find the launch icon and it should open. make sure you download the correct version for your computer (theres two versions, one for 64 and one for 32)

after its done we plan on revamping the phobia project demo (which wont take much time at all, maybe a couple months) but then we're planning on working on frost bite solely until its finished.
I cant give a proper eta on the finished game, but we're hoping itll be done sometime next year O: we're only a team of two people who also do art commission work to afford rent and living so sadly things take longer than most companies because we don't have much time to work on our own stuff ;-;

im glad you like him haha hes very fun to play with
he is going to have a bigger role in frost bite and plays quite a major role in the mcs escape/fate depending on how you treat him. as it stands theres not way to get a solid ending with him where you LIVE, but he also appears in other things! (he's in the beginning of our horror gore comic "the loverman killer" as well as makes a cameo in "purple" and he's planned to show up several more times until we release his backstory in the last game in the series)
vic is actually quite important in the chronological purpleverse storyline
When I downloaded the game, I didn't realize it was a demo, but it's really well produced from what I have played so far, love Tate despite his violent yet calm nature, the character designs were very appealing and certainly caught my eye, from one artist to another I can admire that quite a bit. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Did you extract the file? You have to right click the file, select "extract all" and wait for the load to finish. After that the file should pop up with the game. If not then def a different problem.
omg the demo is so good, I was literally mouthwatering everytime Tate popped up on the screen, everything about him is perfect I love his whole character design.
The art was really nice too, I love the artstyle and the facial expressions!
I hope we get to see more of Vic, i wanna know more about his backstory :o
