They remaking the game with the new unreal engine, so what you know from the demo is from the old build 0.75. Plus the new build is a early test build of the new engine.
Right now there is not planned for a release date for Steam, since they are remaking the game with the new engine. They only planning on Releasing it to Steam when its finnished.

I'm playing 0.75 and I know that the doors have limited power so I waited for the bunny girl to look through the window before closing the door. She came in through the closed door anyway. Is it even possible to win?
In regards to this in case you might still be wondering the pig toy on the desk gives you sanity back when you use it and you need to balance using that and looking up at the vent while the door is closed but using the toy too quickly breaks it so watch the red bar next to your sanity

While we had that speed, you often had updates with completely broken game mechanics, like Cassidy draining you of each and every ticket you earned. Or the Misty glitch where she was unbeatable.
While at a time we did have much higher speed, it came with a cost that the game itself wasn't stable. One of the main priorities with this rebuild was to make a very very strong backend.
I don't understand what you mean by Maddy not showing up as a screamer. She already has jumpscares planned for her. Just that if she will not be a roamer like Poppi. There is a good reason she is scripted to just hang out in the goo room right now.

You can find the downloads at your profile at My Library. From there, just head to the game and pick a download you want. They update the downloads when they release a new build, so you dont have to worry about paying again for the next update. Also if you scroll to the top of this site, you should see a text saying "You own this game" and a download butten near it.
I just bought in heat after playing the demo and I downloaded the most recent one which is INHEAT-801b and it seems SUPER outdated compared to the demo, as well as after a game over there is no sex scenes? I was just wondering if I got the correct version.
The demo is from the old build, while 0.801a and 0.801b is the new remade build for the Unreal 5 engine system. They trying to remake the game with the new system, so there is a lot of new changes coming to it in the future, but right now its just a sort of early test build of the new system that you can try out.

We haven't been able to effectively update the unreal 4 edition of the game. So rather than exist in development hell, we had to completely rebuild the project.
0.8+ is crafted in Unreal 5, and will be getting the updates.

I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything, cause right now the gameplay is wait, wait, close the door, wait, open door, wait, fix problem on camera, then repeat until the nights over, the night selection screen is weirdly disorganized with the order being "night 1" "night 10" "night 2" "night 5" and "night 8", and when you finish a night it says "you are win" which im not sure is intentional- but i am absolutely loving how things look right now and there is so much potential for this rebuild!
Unfortunately, due to the design process of the rebuild, we have had to delay the integration of a save-system. Which handles a lot of the nights and other gameplay aspects. Integrating This should be the priority for this month, as such the next update should be a better look at what is to come.

No. Just head to My Library on your profile when you have bought it. You should be able to download any current and future files they place for download.
The new build 0.801 Seems to not support ultrawide screen resolutions, because the stage room with the lever cant be interacted if you use a standard resolution of 3440x1440 or similar. But if you change your computers display to 1920x1080, its possible to play it correctly. Seems playing in ultrawide, cause it to fill out to the sides, and makes the top and bottom cropped out.

For the question of the build you asking about instead of just right out playing it yourself. There is nothing new, since its sort of a remake of what they made in the old build, but with new models for the new build, and new video scenes you can watch.
Oh ok I played the game on version 0.8, but every time I tried to play it always had an error and a notification "the procedure entry point CreateFile2Directories could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32dll"
I was a bit confused and tried to find a way to fix it, but after I tried various ways it still didn't work. And I've given up because I can't play it, my only last option is to reinstall my windows but I don't want to.
Hopefully in this new version I can play it..

Im pretty sure you downloaded the 0.8 version if you want the game you need to download the 0.75 version the 0.8 is just a bunch of stuff for the next update thats being tested hope that helps
Thats too bad its still a really good fan made game they just need the money to help support the making of it and just because its not free doesn't mean its not a fan game. Frankly i think 10 dollars is too cheap for this good of a fan game but that could just be me. Plus its still getting updated which shows they still care about developing it.
Just bought the game, and I am very confuse about the basic controls. Could anyone give me a quick run down? I keep dying on night 1 and don't know what i need to do.
Look left and right to check out the windows, and to operate the buttons of which control the doors. Basically wait for a girl to go up to a window and close the door.
Looking down pulls up the camera. use this to keep track of the girls, and look for broken devices (clicking on a broken device will open up a fixing minigame) Keeping a keen eye on Sammy will allow you to tackle these issues faster.
The bar on the top right is your sanity, press the plushy on your table to increase that, having 0 sanity will result in a bad time.
On the left screen you can ping the robbers location with the hazard button. Once you see where they are, then block them from getting into the gem room using the button right below it. Hope this helps.
Basically this, we also have a guide up in the discord. The concept for the nightclub is a bit weak tbh, likely it will get a complete overhall when it returns to later builds.

Theatre is basically that. Some users were having issues displaying videos. Unreal 4 is a very iffy engine.
In just a little bit, we will have our video systems for 0.8+ completed, in which case the Theatre will be retired.
