The game is made with RPG Maker MV as the base engine, but also quite a lot of plugins and custom coding to make it do things beyond the scope of the basic engine!

Although, I keep getting crash messages at the Cavern Core with the green slime monster after Grapple phase as he coated Grove with a slime suit. The crash message says I have to go to persistent.rpgsave but when I do, I don't have the necessary program to start. What should I do? Should I redownload the game?
Well, I'm glad that you were able to proceed without the same error reoccurring.
As for the "freeze" issue, this is something that tends to happen with RPG Maker if you do indeed stand around for a long time and have other things going on in the background on your computer. It's not specific to that area or our game... it's more like a memory issue on lower-powered computers.
Hopefully you can continue to proceed through the game. It might be a little bit jittery in performance but I'm afraid that is all stuff outside our control (the game engine itself or your computer's spec)

Are you running the game from a cloud folder (drop box, google drive, onedrive etc)? The persistent file issue is usually a symptom of this. If so, be sure to run the game from your computer's drive as the auto-sync often breaks the saves!

Enjoyed the game! Surprisingly challenging and fun combat for a lewd rpg, but I have a question: should I report bugs here or somewhere else? Because I've gone through the steps to get the Skimpy Armor outfit and gotten dialogue talking about it, but the blacksmith doesn't give it, and on a 100% run it bugs me to no end.

As for bug reports, our Discord server is the best place to do so, but here is fine too. We'll look into that issue you're having with the Skimpy Armour, and see if there's a fix for it. I recommend you keep hold of any saves prior to acquiring it, so you can potentially replay and grab it properly in the future.
Just to check though... you did go to your room at the inn and check the closet armoury, right? I know some people have forgotten to do so since they're used to it just appearing in their inventory.

There's a 'relationship points' mechanic in the game right now, for the blacksmith as well as a few other NPCs. Relationships with them might indeed blossom, if you play your cards right...
...but that'll be in a future update. It's still early days for now.

I'm extremely busy with work and studies irl, so GROVE is tertiary to other priorities as a whole. Most of my break has been spent on development, so you'll likely have to deal with future month-long gaps in news and updates.
We understand many players are very keen for updates and the such, and we do appreciate the enthusiasm! The game is free because we know we can't consistently provide updates, and it allows us to have a bit of wriggle room to experiment with other projects in the future in tandem with Grove. We're not opening up a Patreon as a result, as that would turn this into another job with obligations that we cannot reasonably fulfill.
Hopefully the next update will tide you and the other players over for a good while~ We might consider releasing a few interim updates between this and future versions, but that would be something we'll need to discuss internally.

Love the game just wondering once the new content comes out will i need to progress a second save to see all the content, like for example will i need a high and low corruption save or a version for each bandit option or some new thing in the new content in order to see all major scenes, versus having a backup play through the other option and that being the end of that paths new content once it recombines with the main story progression
A bit of a multi-faceted question, so I'll break it into chunks:
You should be able to import your saves from the previous version, and we'll leave a 'save file transfer guide' in the download.
If you want to witness everything in the game, you'll need a higher corruption playthrough, yes. A few events are locked behind corruption score, and also corruption gain has its own unique moments.
As for the bandit option... well, there's mutually exclusive content for both decisions, so you'll have to pick one way or the other (or do both). We can't spoil how it will affect you in the future though, so... this decision is up to you.
Hope that answers all your questions. It's ultimately up to you if you wanna make multiple saves, but hopefully now you have the information you need to make that decision.
There are some dialogue adjustments and things... but no substantial content or scenes at the moment, no. Remaining 'pure' will have more effects towards the end of the story, we think.
This is one of the best NSFW games I've ever played, the characters are sexy, the scenes are hot, and the kinks featured are some of my absolute favorites

Within the engine that we're using (RPG Maker MV) there isn't an easier way for a more integrated save/load system. We'd have to look into custom made plug-ins / mods... but it's not something we've looked into too much at the moment.

Hello there developers! I have a question that has been bugging me ever since I started playing this game. I am a sucker for how the artists of this game draw and display rubber/latex and its varieties. Ranging from the game over of becoming a rubbery drone (My favorite ending by the way) to my absolute favorite item, the rubbery jockstrap(?), I am obsessed with our dear Grover and his interaction with latex/rubber. My question is, are there any plans for more rubber/latex content in the future?
I also am curious if there are any plans in the future for our dear Grover to potentially transform/grow in any sort of way? I always enjoy it when shy fellows get big (Take that however you wish). It would also possibly be cool for any sort of goo/slime/rubber/etc that could transform our pride (*wink*) into another, like an equine's or dragons?
To sum up, I ask if there are any plans for more rubber/latex content and potential enlargement/transformation content. This may seem like a silly question but I am curious; given that it appears the game hasn't seen an update of any kind in nearly a year, after such a lengthy hiatus, when the new update does come, will it even be the same game or has the game been taken in a new direction with the original ideas lost? I don't know what the situation is regarding this game's development history so I'm not familiar with why there was such a long hiatus. I just know that several months ago, I played it through to its current ending point and I enjoyed it very much. Just wasn't sure if it was ever going to see another update for awhile there.

If you're in the desert, your destination is in the top-right corner, down some stairs. Make sure to walk around in the dark shady areas so you don't overheat on the way.
Heyo! I hate to do this but I am having difficulty with a certain area within the map. I'm not quite sure how to pass the 'Periphery Jungle Entrence/Upper' area. Am I missing an exit or a specific enemy I need to defeat in order to pass it? It's been boggling my noggle for a couple of hours now and I am completely lost. Any help is appreciated. I can include screenshots of the area if need be.
No specific enemies or anything you need to do, other than to find the path forward. In both cases, the way you need to go is to the top-right of the area... though of course, there's a bit of jumping and navigation in order to get there.
Just to double-check though... have you already rescued a certain somebody from the jungle? Because if so, then you are going in the wrong direction. There's a new path forward in the jungle camp area.
Hopefully this can help you out, whatever your situation may be.

Hello devs, I would like to ask one think, I have a safe file that I thought I wanted to transfer to a new update version, but the problem for me is that I forgot to talk to Kuno after rescued him, so I miss the first unlockable outfit, so I thought that I would have to start over a game to unlock everything until the next update, I don't mind it, but just want to ask, if there will be any other ways to unlock every outfit in the future updates if I miss some, I just like it when I have 100% of the game completed, BTW following your game since last year and really anxious about next update
We are indeed considering ways to get some of the armour sets and things you might have otherwise missed. I can't promise everything will have alternate ways to acquire it though... but Kuno's 'Ranger Gear' you'll be able to acquire later, yeah.

There is currently no way to reduce your corruption level.
Right now it only has minor effects: It adjusts some dialogue, it 'enhances' one scene, it makes a another lewd scene unavoidable.
When truly 'bad' effects start appearing in the game, we might give players a way to reduce their corruption level.

I couldn't seem to replicate the error, sorry :(
I remember it was something like:
"ERROR MESSAGE"
"Error: EBUSY: resource is busy or locked, open (a long string of file lead)-/www/save/persistent.rpgsave"

Love the game just wondering once the new content comes out will i need to progress a second save to see all the content, like for example will i need a high and low corruption save or a version for each bandit option or some new thing in the new content in order to see all major scenes, versus having a backup play through the other option and that being the end of that paths new content once it recombines with the main story progression
A bit of a multi-faceted question, so I'll break it into chunks:
You should be able to import your saves from the previous version, and we'll leave a 'save file transfer guide' in the download.
If you want to witness everything in the game, you'll need a higher corruption playthrough, yes. A few events are locked behind corruption score, and also corruption gain has its own unique moments.
As for the bandit option... well, there's mutually exclusive content for both decisions, so you'll have to pick one way or the other (or do both). We can't spoil how it will affect you in the future though, so... this decision is up to you.
Hope that answers all your questions. It's ultimately up to you if you wanna make multiple saves, but hopefully now you have the information you need to make that decision.
thank you, but what about a low corruption save? Anything missed beyond the “you decide not to be a perv” lines there?
There are some dialogue adjustments and things... but no substantial content or scenes at the moment, no. Remaining 'pure' will have more effects towards the end of the story, we think.
This is one of the best NSFW games I've ever played, the characters are sexy, the scenes are hot, and the kinks featured are some of my absolute favorites

Within the engine that we're using (RPG Maker MV) there isn't an easier way for a more integrated save/load system. We'd have to look into custom made plug-ins / mods... but it's not something we've looked into too much at the moment.
Otherwise though, thank you very much for the kind and enthusiastic praise of the game! I hope that you'll continue enjoying your time with the game, and grow fond of even more characters... and maybe, just maybe, you'll see more of the folks you enjoy the most in future content~!

Hello there developers! I have a question that has been bugging me ever since I started playing this game. I am a sucker for how the artists of this game draw and display rubber/latex and its varieties. Ranging from the game over of becoming a rubbery drone (My favorite ending by the way) to my absolute favorite item, the rubbery jockstrap(?), I am obsessed with our dear Grover and his interaction with latex/rubber. My question is, are there any plans for more rubber/latex content in the future?
I also am curious if there are any plans in the future for our dear Grover to potentially transform/grow in any sort of way? I always enjoy it when shy fellows get big (Take that however you wish). It would also possibly be cool for any sort of goo/slime/rubber/etc that could transform our pride (*wink*) into another, like an equine's or dragons?
To sum up, I ask if there are any plans for more rubber/latex content and potential enlargement/transformation content. Thank you so much for reading my lengthy comment, and I really hope this game gets all the love it deserves, and you developers keep getting all the praise you deserve for such a fine product! There is indeed going to be more latex content in the game with the next update. I can't give you any specifics though, as I don't want to spoil things... but hopefully you'll end up enjoying what we have to show off, if it meets your expectations or ends up surprising you.

This may seem like a silly question but I am curious; given that it appears the game hasn't seen an update of any kind in nearly a year, after such a lengthy hiatus, when the new update does come, will it even be the same game or has the game been taken in a new direction with the original ideas lost? I don't know what the situation is regarding this game's development history so I'm not familiar with why there was such a long hiatus. I just know that several months ago, I played it through to its current ending point and I enjoyed it very much. Just wasn't sure if it was ever going to see another update for awhile there.
There's a new update coming soon, hopefully within the next 30 days.
The game that you played will still be just like you remember it, nothing is being removed or greatly adjusted. And there'll be a few more hours of new content added for you to enjoy.
Hope you can be patient for just a little while longer.
I'm stuck in the desert how do I leave
If you're in the desert, your destination is in the top-right corner, down some stairs. Make sure to walk around in the dark shady areas so you don't overheat on the way.
Heyo! I hate to do this but I am having difficulty with a certain area within the map. I'm not quite sure how to pass the 'Periphery Jungle Entrence/Upper' area. Am I missing an exit or a specific enemy I need to defeat in order to pass it? It's been boggling my noggle for a couple of hours now and I am completely lost. Any help is appreciated. I can include screenshots of the area if need be.
No specific enemies or anything you need to do, other than to find the path forward. In both cases, the way you need to go is to the top-right of the area... though of course, there's a bit of jumping and navigation in order to get there.
Just to double-check though... have you already rescued a certain somebody from the jungle? Because if so, then you are going in the wrong direction. There's a new path forward in the jungle camp area.
Hopefully this can help you out, whatever your situation may be.

Maybe! Late December, or early January. It depends how the next few weeks treat us. The holiday season can be very unpredictable.

Hello devs, I would like to ask one think, I have a safe file that I thought I wanted to transfer to a new update version, but the problem for me is that I forgot to talk to Kuno after rescued him, so I miss the first unlockable outfit, so I thought that I would have to start over a game to unlock everything until the next update, I don't mind it, but just want to ask, if there will be any other ways to unlock every outfit in the future updates if I miss some, I just like it when I have 100% of the game completed, BTW following your game since last year and really anxious about next update
We are indeed considering ways to get some of the armour sets and things you might have otherwise missed. I can't promise everything will have alternate ways to acquire it though... but Kuno's 'Ranger Gear' you'll be able to acquire later, yeah.

My birthday is on the 4/12. And I'm rooting for the next update to be my birthday present and Christmas present for everyone who loves this game.
The game is very good, I've replayed this version several times.
A big question is what happens to the bandits if we choose to help them with the machine.
