This game is great, but I can't wait until the linux version is released so I can use it on my computer. Works great in browser or even in mobile, but it's just too slow through Proton on my computer.
It seems there is a beta linux build, to turn that on Right Click Game => Properties => Betas => public beta (got this information from https://www.protondb.com)
This game really is so addicting! I have been playing this for a week, and still can't get enough of it. 2 days have passed, and I have made lots of progress in the game. I can average a 30:00 timed run or more if I have clock lancet. However, not so much on hyper mode lol. Best at 15 minute mark. I have made a lot more meta upgrades.
Great fun! I was surprised to find this runs pretty well on my very old laptop. It struggles once the screen is literally filled with enemies, but remains playable (if extremely slow) even then.
Bruh please…I am getting the full game there of course. But me being a completionist I have to wait for a final version (and not have it in backlog because of added achievements or Dlc).

While they don't fix the mobile version, you can play Magic Survival for Android instead, which was the inspiration for Vampire Survivors (the VS devs even say so in one of their update posts on Steam). It is a wonderful game as well. It will be also be ported to iOS soon.
Wow! this game is pretty addictive. I got really hooked. I'm impressed how the game works well with the enemies sprites just sliding around without any animation beyond the small rotate emulating a walk.
I would love to see it go with a cutout art in future updates.
The game is really nice. However, there is a thing that the dev might want to do in order to make it better: how smooth it runs after you've hit around the 20 minute mark. I ended up having to play the game at 6 fps. Maybe the dev might be able to make it so that it is more cpu/gpu friendly without lowering the graphics? But don't worry about early gameplay,
This is a demo, there is no full version. The game on Steam is early access, which is equivalent to a open or public beta. Steam has alot of development tools itch lacks. Steam has a wider and more active pool of users and each game gets it's own forums.
Know what's going on with the other Vampire Survivors? look up android game Magic Survival. It's the exact same concept, auto-shooter on infinite map, experience drops and rpg leveling, classes, upgrade over time, etc. Little bit of a different feel I think, but pretty much the same. It will scratch your mobile itch.
Love this game but on chrome it keeps lagging alot (on my phones/tablets too) and makes it unplayable after 15 min. I wish there was a Switch and Android game, I got it on steam but I don't really like the keyboard movement and this game would be perfect to just play lazy on the sofa on phone or Switch with controller. Looking forward to the development of this game.
Highly unlikely, I have a PC that can handle any game on the highest quality, I'm pretty sure it should be able to handle this game too. XD Maybe in 1995 I would have a PC that couldn't handle this game haha, but it seems to be an issue for alot of people, when the game becomes spammed with monsters (after like 20 min) it's lagging like crazy. On steam it runs fine tho, but still hoping for a switch release. ^^
Weird, my PC is about 7 years old and I haven't got any issues nor did any major upgrades since that time. I think the most intense part I played was when my screen was flooded with the flesh eating flowers and it was all fluent.
Did you try it on your phone too? Maybe it has to do with internet connection, I live in a small village with not great connection so that could be the case here haha.
Haha no, I'm not playing these kinda games on my phone, but I can imagine a phone has slightly less processing power than a PC, so I can imagine it's lagging there indeed ;-) I don't think the Internet connection is the issues, as this is a locally played game as soon as it's downloaded, but there might be some online stuff happening on the background, don't know about that.

I saw your game while watching my favorite streamer. Although a bit cautios in the beginning I bought the EA after watching him play for about 15 minutes. Now I just want to play another round after another round. So now I want others to feel the same exitement I did. Is there a way to spread some love? Is there a possibilitly to buy game keys from you we can gift to others in our streams?
If there is any chance please let me know. I´d love for others to play this little masterpiece as well.

The downloadable version is on Steam. It's 3 bucks, and you unlock sooo much more stuff. Would def recommend buying full version
Please update the demo with the latest tweaks and make it so we can download it here on itch.io :(

FYI, the Steam version supports controllers.
Don't know if you'll see this Orion3G but you can plug in an Xbox or playstation controller and play the steam version that way.

Do you have cookies turned off? If you do, try turning on cookies. That worked for me.
