This thing is still sitting in the same shape it was since I last posted here nearly two years ago.
I eagerly await a new month's lie and excuse. Maybe he'll post how he was putting his busted POS computer back together and then realized he was trying to put batteries in his toaster, and it took him the whole month to figure out what exactly he was doing wrong.
stencilbits is obviously putting out BS or just doesn't have a clue. When he says he needs to download TERABYTES of data from a backup to fix anything then the odds are nearly 100% that he both doesn't know anything about computers and also complete BS.
Another month is ending, which means it's time for the traditional monthly update! Hardware issues are now all fixed and I have been re-creating some content and renders that self-destructed along with my hard drive. Fortunately, there were not many of them, as most were backed up. So, good news! Things are mostly ready for release 0.4 again! I have learned not to make any promises, but I should be able to press that "Build Release" button soon. I'll probably give the script a proofreading pass or two and see if I spot any other issues, but so far things are looking good. Expect another update after next weekend or so! And as always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until 0.4 is out (I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then). Back on August 30th he made a post on patreon that the 0.4 update is coming, with some changes, and he suspended his patreon till the update is out, i think it is really coming out now.
I came here on itch.io after a long, long time, and remembered offcuts. Initially, I had a little hope that the game has been updated, but that moron still fooling with us with all those excuses on patreon, for real, I'm full of this sh*t.
While going in I wasn't expecting something like Echo, The Smoke Room or DDLC (just a example) it done it's job as a solid read. Outside of the issues here and there the story works and did it's job as a NSFW VN. The characters were enjoyable, some funny moments, and designs are well done. It's definitely not 10/10 but I would recommend if you have some spare time and want a easy read. Shame that some people reviewing never looked at Stencilbits patreon page, he clearly states multiple times he was working on the entire chapter at one go and changing to 3D with some animation. So it's understandable it wasn't released next day, especially with it being one person. I'll give Stencilbits the benefit of the doubt and say he really is working and is closer to being done, if not guess I'll eat my words. Either way I'll still be downloading when version 4 comes out.
Almost an entire year in between updates and I was even thinking of subbing to the devs patreon if there were updates, but wow a whole year that tells you the game is never getting finished.

I can't vouch for why it is taking this long but I can say the DEV suspends his Patreon memberships every month until V0.4 comes out. So basically he won't charge anyone until there is new content. It has been this way for over a year.
A garbage game that is aging like molasses. After 3 years this only has a handful of routes that are rewrote copies of the first. Sex scenes are an absolute quagmire of terrible. Story isnt even that good, something for adolescents, so not like the only quality it really had left is enough to carry this massive failure to greatness. The total neglect and lack of maintenance has already rendered this thing a relic of the past. Only the patreon fanboys still care about it.

The storywriting is just plain bad and it is a visual novel. When doing the Amy route, the MC (Cole) suddenly has no clue how to talk to a girl or how to interact with her, then even needs the help of another girl when it comes to having sex with Amy. I guess the intent was to make the MC funny and witty, but the end result was a rambling clueless idiot. So the fact that anyone could say this has a great story behind it is just not there.
No one is attracted to bad art that looks like it was a grade school art project drawn up by a bunch of children. I see some child got a gold star in class participation. The graphics are all kinds of bad. Characters are deformed. Not like the story makes up for it either. This is an entry level adult novel at best, if you havent played them before and if you have, it's almost comically bad.
Not something I'd lose any sleep over if it never got worked on again.

This is the story in this game: parents die, go to school, run into thugs, deal with thugs in some stupid way, and you might end up with the girl in the end. No variation, no nothing. Anything by Patreon you access by paying a monthly fee to the maker is called paywalling. This dev has even paywalled his "monthly update" which is just a bunch of regurgitated garbage from the months before. The problem with this is you could be paying these devs for the next several years and never see the game completed. These so-called "Patreon rewards" are just ways of keeping money flowing while the game never goes very far, if anywhere, like this game. Notice how his handfull of patron clique is always coming on here and pointing to his Patreon?
severely overrated. it poses as an nsfw title but doesnt even have any and it has been in development for over 2 years now so no excuses at this point. game is also bugged to the point the clueless developer actually added an in-game button fix to some of them rather than trying to fix the problem itself. moves along at a snails pace, updates are largely pointless. storyline is also reminescent of sesame street.

What makes it junk is there is also no porn, what little there is being softcore and animal, and the dialogue is so heavily glitched you can often lose pages.

Where are all the Patreon shills who said there would be a 0.4 update last year?
On his Patron site, he said he was suspending taking payments until .4 is released (which he says will be April.)

I played this game since the start of quarantine and replayed it just for good times and I love every minute of the game,but the only thing I don't like (not hate) is the ending,cuz breaking up with the girl you (MC) chosed in the first place and ending into a break up cuz of "problems",dev please make the breaking up thing a alternate ending or something

The game and idea had potential. Unfortunately, this dev does not.
As much as I would have liked to see a Kate storyline, I'm not willing to wait years and years on end for it. So this game is now going in the dumpster of other abandoned and failed experiments.
Back on August 30th he made a post on patreon that the 0.4 update is coming, with some changes, and he suspended his patreon till the update is out, i think it is really coming out now.

I came here on itch.io after a long, long time, and remembered offcuts. Initially, I had a little hope that the game has been updated, but that moron still fooling with us with all those excuses on patreon, for real, I'm full of this sh*t.

When a game has gone 12+ months with no update... IT IS A DEAD GAME.
This game has not be updated... SINCE 2019. That's TWO YEARS.

While going in I wasn't expecting something like Echo, The Smoke Room or DDLC (just a example) it done it's job as a solid read. Outside of the issues here and there the story works and did it's job as a NSFW VN. The characters were enjoyable, some funny moments, and designs are well done. It's definitely not 10/10 but I would recommend if you have some spare time and want a easy read. Shame that some people reviewing never looked at Stencilbits patreon page, he clearly states multiple times he was working on the entire chapter at one go and changing to 3D with some animation. So it's understandable it wasn't released next day, especially with it being one person. I'll give Stencilbits the benefit of the doubt and say he really is working and is closer to being done, if not guess I'll eat my words. Either way I'll still be downloading when version 4 comes out.

Almost an entire year in between updates and I was even thinking of subbing to the devs patreon if there were updates, but wow a whole year that tells you the game is never getting finished.

I can't vouch for why it is taking this long but I can say the DEV suspends his Patreon memberships every month until V0.4 comes out. So basically he won't charge anyone until there is new content. It has been this way for over a year.
A very enjoyable game! Too little choices tho, reading so much is annoying after a while. I love the pictures and animations tho!
A garbage game that is aging like molasses. After 3 years this only has a handful of routes that are rewrote copies of the first. Sex scenes are an absolute quagmire of terrible. Story isnt even that good, something for adolescents, so not like the only quality it really had left is enough to carry this massive failure to greatness. The total neglect and lack of maintenance has already rendered this thing a relic of the past. Only the patreon fanboys still care about it.

Patrons should petition to get their money back. All they have been doing is just paying for text updates the last two years.
They have been pausing payments every month while 0.4 is being developed.
And it will stay in development for an endless number of months with a variety of excuses while the dev continues to drag his feet. Sure hope he doesn't fall over them.

The storywriting is just plain bad and it is a visual novel. When doing the Amy route, the MC (Cole) suddenly has no clue how to talk to a girl or how to interact with her, then even needs the help of another girl when it comes to having sex with Amy. I guess the intent was to make the MC funny and witty, but the end result was a rambling clueless idiot. So the fact that anyone could say this has a great story behind it is just not there.
No one is attracted to bad art that looks like it was a grade school art project drawn up by a bunch of children. I see some child got a gold star in class participation. The graphics are all kinds of bad. Characters are deformed. Not like the story makes up for it either. This is an entry level adult novel at best, if you havent played them before and if you have, it's almost comically bad.
Not something I'd lose any sleep over if it never got worked on again.

The whole thing with Covid was just a convenient excuse. He promises updates month after month but never delivers anything. Someone on porno-apk mentioned the other day he had an update coming in "a few months" and my retort was he had been promising one since LAST APRIL. If it actually takes 2 years to produce a decimal update, then hard pass on that game. Far more properly maintained and even better games and VNs out there.
Covid aside, updates for this thing were a rare occurance, at best. I dont see Covid as having any significant impact on anything related here.
Covid really shouldnt have been an issue for the developer, as its obviously only one or two people working on it, I think anyone even with a laptop could make this awful game.

I deleted this a long time ago. Alice was the worst girl IMO and that is what he spent the last 2 years working on and we havent seen anything about it. That means to get an actual update we will wait have to wait an additional 2 years while he drags his feet again. Screw that. Not worth it.
This is the story in this game: parents die, go to school, run into thugs, deal with thugs in some stupid way, and you might end up with the girl in the end. No variation, no nothing. Sex scenes are also ridiculous and trashy. All I can say is no amount of editing will fix this garbage game, doesnt even deserve to be fixed as its got absolutely no progression. I usually like to give games a chance before I decide to bail. The developer should take a lesson from games like A House in the Rift, Wartribe Academy, etc to make a good story.

Anything by Patreon you access by paying a monthly fee to the maker is called paywalling. This dev has even paywalled his "monthly update" which is just a bunch of regurgitated garbage from the months before. The problem with this is you could be paying these devs for the next several years and never see the game completed. These so-called "Patreon rewards" are just ways of keeping money flowing while the game never goes very far, if anywhere, like this game. Notice how his handfull of patron clique is always coming on here and pointing to his Patreon?

severely overrated. it poses as an nsfw title but doesnt even have any and it has been in development for over 2 years now so no excuses at this point. game is also bugged to the point the clueless developer actually added an in-game button fix to some of them rather than trying to fix the problem itself. moves along at a snails pace, updates are largely pointless. storyline is also reminescent of sesame street.
current and future devs should download and play that one to the end. it is a prime example how NOT to make an adult game.

Lust Doll Plus. Probably not the worst but closer to the worst than the best. Bros I could name a ton of garbage games but that one is largely done. What makes it junk is there is also no porn, what little there is being softcore and animal, and the dialogue is so heavily glitched you can often lose pages.
