HOLY FUCK IT'S YOU

I swear to Jesus i remember playing some shit like this in 2008 or something before ever knowing what WoW is, golden age of Flash was it?. I don't think 5 year old self particularly knew what he was doing. This is great. This is childhood. I am so glad I've re-found it so many years later. Thank you.

Hey Tkon, really appreciate you working on this game.

Can you please nerf the weapon that drops from the last boss in gurubashi arena, it just destroys the point in the game itself. Also, I am assuming you have to script the part where you jump into the portal and go to darkmoon faire cuz the only way I was able to get to there was from a saved load after actually going into the portal and subsequently ending the game.

Once again, you're amazing for working on this.

So assuming a transition point needs to be added or something.

Hey yeah the Askandi, weapon is very strong! But ideally Helm shouldn't really be beaten till really clearing a large part of ZG. However the reason Askandi is so strong is because Onyxia's health pool is so large and thus ideally the player uses that item to help beat that but you are right it needs nerfing to a certain extent.

Also regarding DMF from my understanding that is how the game did originally load in the DMF as it was really a hidden extra zone that you found from loading up a completed save. But I will check this as I think it could of been changed in when the STV content came out back in the day!

Okayyy, well, just to clarify, I was able to beat the gurubashi bosses with only using the energy pots and a couple of health pots at like level 10-11 , if you want I can let you know the method I used. It just felt like it was an easy way to go through the mobs both as a mage and warrior .

Did you do this recently? I boosted all the bosses damage too so damn! Yes please if you could outline your method, there is definitely an optimal methods but yeah ideally you just wont be able to do it at such a low level in future! 

It was a matter of not letting them do damage. For e.g  -  as a mage , cast frost nova , cold blood , energy pot , nova , cold blood ,  energy pot etc . and slowly the boss died. As a warrior I don't recall what I did but there was some sort of a similar method. Maybe for future references a limitation of 2-3-4 energy pots can mitigate this and only be acceptable for onyxia etc :D

Oh, I think at patch 2.0.7 or 2.0.8, something like that , with warrior it was like 1-2 months ago.

Is there some news content? Zones, Boss, mechanics?

Hi, so as it stands this is a complete remake of the original game. But obviously now we are at that point where that work has been mostly completed in the next X number of months I am looking forward to new content.

Not sure if this was intended or not, but the starting rags sell for an entire silver, meaning you can immediately sell it and buy a full set of starting gear from Blacksmith Frazzak.

Hey. Thanks for the game, really enjoying playing it! Just got some small things you could maybe fix :

  • Polymorph is to strong, 10 rounds is way to long and maybe add health reg from the original
  • Somtimes when you cast Power Word Shield/Renew you also do a melee attack
  • Maybe only give talents every 2 levels or something. Having 2 powerfull abilities by level 10 makes leveling after that useless

Thanks a bunch dude, and nice catch on some of those points, I had completely missed the fact health should regen. Like you said theres a bunch of aspects there make combat less interesting, but I was scared of changing too much from the original. But going going into the future I want to rework it, taking more aspects from the second game and integrating them in to the first!

Forgot about that bug somehow^^ If you save infront of Feronies and die and load the save the game chrashes. And the death screen stays for sometime, not that big of a deal but it's looks weird.

Also, i realised there's 2 clients for PC and 2 clients for phones.. what are the differences on the 2 clients for PC?

Hey dude, yes it should be however her position is moved to where you find her as I did not like having her appear in the same location as the trolls. As for the the two downloads the 1.0 version contains just the Elwyn forest content, aka missing stv and all the quality of life things that brought with it! So it's mainly there to show the progression of work done!

Where i can find her? I've been searching on youtube, and i've been changing maps for the last 15 minutes looking for her..


PS: you should add a changelog on the website and also a discord to follow the updates !!

Really good idea tbf! You can find her in the first zone you would find monsters in at the STV section if that helps haha. As for restarting, due to how saving works currently yes you would but only if I add something like more quests into the game. Bug fixes etc do not won't cause that, long as you don't install the old game but just redownload it. 

The rogue doesnt spawn for me.. doesnt walk towards me, doesnt show up.. its always a tiger or gorilla.. but no rogue

Also, Flee button is not working, and im still looking for her

Ok Felva is working just fine, need to have her dagger equipped in order to see her.

It was a fun experience, but there were some weird issues. I chose mage, did the quests etc. the boss before hakkar (the panther guy?) was floating midair and couldn't be combatted and despawned once hakkar died, and the difference strength to damage translates much better than magic to damage, no matter how much int I collected, eventually reaching 412 int, my lash of pains only did about 360 each, whereas 201 strength was doing anywhere from 1k-2k on melees alone. There's only 1 useable ring slot, there's an ankh slot which I couldn't find anything for, and une's cape is a trinket for some reason? after clearing it all, it's finally time to move onto the barrens and await the rest of the game

Hey dude, first thanks for playing! Currently working on lots of those weird behaviours now so there should be patches in the future with fixes and maybe a hardmode etc

Awesome job on this flash-esque game, reminds me of my childhood for sure!
Just some feedback: enemies have infinite energy making it almost impossible to kill them if they cast heavy heals back to back. And Beardon's flash heal ability also damages me for a very large amount. Seems a little overtuned. I had to keep fighting him until he (by pure RNG) didnt cast any flash heals :D
Also, only 1 ring can be equipped despite there being two ring slots.
But awesome job on this, im still leveling up my murk mage to progress hahaah.

Imo a great addition would be some sort of auto save. It can be frustrating when the game crash and you lose your progression ^^

Hey! The game doesn´t work for me. I´ve tried both PC versions and I got only to "Choose class" and then the game crashed. I would really like to play it. Please help. :)

Aaaa damnit, this is an issue on a few machines including one of my laptops. I would recommend the mobile version of the game or trying on another computer. Oddly that seems to be more stable. The issue at it's core seems to be a ram problem good news is I am looking for ways to fix this. I would keep an on our reddit page for development updates. What are the specs of your PC?

I know It´s not a gaming PC but some games work.

This is super cool man! Hopefully Blizzard makes Murloc a hardcore playable race finally, and brings this classic some traffic! i had friends who played this back in the day and they never even played WoW.
Excited too see where it goes :)

:edit: found a glitch in alpha where Fengus the mage Kobold will not fight you after his text box. when you try to exit thats when you fight him, and he will never leave the cave, thus making the epic candle weapon un-optainable.

The thief doesn't run by after killing princess boar (worked in version1)

all characters transfered from version 1 have zero items, only keep the level.

Hey bud thanks for your words of kindness! I have now fixed the issues you mentioned but please do take into about v1 saves will not load on the alpha versions :)

Ok I finished the content added by the Alpha update. Finally, I could not deliver the guy in the cage because dynamite is needed and it is technically impossible to have it for the following reasons:

1. The game freezes when I try to use an item in combat

2. The game freezes when we are in the boat when we have to face crocodiles before facing wild boars.

Oh and Hakkar the Soulflayer has just 30 lifepoints. In the orignal game it has 4500 lifepoints

Then in the arena, the goblin does not have the yellow question mark. When you leave the arena and enter again, you have to start all over again. When we finish the arena, we have the icon to speak to the goblin again, but if we do so, the game crashes, and the only way out is

By finishing the arena, we should therefore be able to talk to the goblin again and buy him new items. But we cannot for the reasons stated above

When starting a new game, when we choose among the 4 types of power (mage, warrior, etc.), if we press one of the 4, it is automatically chosen, without us being able to know what it corresponds to. , and if we really want to

In the end, it is therefore impossible to obtain the dynamite to go into the mine and recover the stone to teleport to the end of the content of version 1, but also impossible to deliver the caged monster. Otherwise everything looks OK

And question, did you included the secret bosses ?

Hi, have just put out a new alpha build that fixes many of these issues but thing like the class selection is still in my todo. As of the last build the hidden bosses are now in the game but the felva mini quest line will be coming on the future :)

What do you think about add class like drude or demo ? ( in very very very long time, I know but I'm so pretty just curious about that)

love this if you could finish the story line to this that would be SO sweet! even if you end it at the second episode i really feel this series needs some closure. really appreciative of what you're doing. keep up the good work! :)

Bugs:
Feronius sometimes doesn't get stunned/silenced.
Feronius doesn't use energy, meaning he puts you in a stunlock, unless his AI messes up. I couldn't play any further tho bc im stuck trying to beat a Boss that can oneshot me basically.
(edit:) Another bug, when you stun someone with charge and they dont hit you, you still counterattack them

Its pretty Kool but where's the arena your missing some parts and could you more items that give u more stamina an agility an intelligence like the items u get from zul grub when u battle an beat all the creatures

Hey the STV content will be coming in a future patch! It actually adds loads of new items and work, it will just take some time to create :) 

At the moment we can only go as far as the continuation of the challenges offered by the goblin, in which we face all our previous enemies and finally, Sirath. But after that, there is nothing more we can do. Is this normal? When is the sequel planned?

Why not download the original game an just convert it to android and pc versions its only a flash game

Hey,

The main issue with this is that you can't just convert a flash game to work on mobile, plus with flash being killed off less and less systems support it anyway. Fundamentally flash games work very different. I am then having to remake the whole game from scratch, including getting / creating assets.

Hey "Ferocious Fang" seems to be a weapon but it has no stats attached to it. When I pressed Spacebar at one point at the Goblin TP scene I was talking to an npc in town to give him his quest item. Also I am stuck. I leveled mage and can one shot everything with pyro but the Crocodiles don't let me out of combat and my weapon deals 10dmg to them. They have 600HP because I am level 11. How can I beat them?

Also hovering over talents very often doesn't reveal the tooltip. Green Items have no stats like the shoulderpads. Crocodiles dont reveal dmg done to them.

Strange, It might be worth ensuring you have the latest version, it could be the case that the latest version did not get uploaded correctly since you are not the first person to note this.

I will look into these though hopefully I can bundle a fix into the STV content drop.

I played it and its pretty fun. I've played through the warrior class and the mage class but i preferred the mage due to how fun it is to chain spells together and make a combo. Can't wait for a sequel when we stepped through the portal and find the kobold.
