I know this is a big ask but i'd love to see a gallery mode/ custom battle mode where you could have battles with a mixture of enemies, and apply different status effects. I had this idea while Nel was fighting in Celica's body, but it i could never get a grapple animation to last since her chance of escaping while struggling is so damn high "-_- Also i'm yet to experience this "petrification" status effect mentioned, does anyone know where i can see this?
Some things which are mentioned in the library books don't seem to be accessible in the current version. Like the darkness and light elements, along with the petrification status that you mentioned. There's also confusion and charmed which have not been implemented in any battle yet.
There's a build for patrons which lets you play as the enemies and Evie while she's an ally. If you max out your Allure trait as much as possible then Nel will try less to break free from struggles. Grapples mostly break in one struggle with her because letting her possess Celica increases her Luck trait which increases chances of breaking free of grapples.
Help the toy maker get some fairy dust and he will give you a key item which can enable an event when exploring Dimore Cave. If the event occurs, then a new part of the world map will open which has magma mounds.
good game tbh but anoying when your trying to grind if u keep getting grabbed maybe you should be able to click and instantly end the animation when grabbed but when you dont click it keeps going forever so i can just spam click my way through fights making grinding easyier
You can spam spacebar too to advance battle actions and dialogue. There are also a few keys that aren't mentioned in the game help menu which can advance certain parts of the game faster.
The [ . ] or Period key on your numpad can be used to spam the Explore and Struggle buttons without the need of mouse clicks. Very useful when grinding.
The [+] or Plus key on your numpad can be used to spam the Wait button in battle.
Try increasing friendship levels with her. I believe Deimus already answered the question down below. She will pick any one of the following locations from random according to your friendship level with her.
Level 1 - Slimes
Level 2 - Hornet
Level 3 - Jellyfish
Level 4 - Rockspitters
Level 5 - Fire Rays
Level 6 - Dark Fairies, I think. I didn't progress that far yet.
You cannot ask her to go to a specific location yet. (as much as I would want that feature to be implemented, since I end up quickloading the game more times than actually having to autofight because she chose someplace I didn't want her to go )
Is the "Lewdness" attribute a good or bad thing to have?
I kind of "trained" Celica's Lewdness level all the way up to 100 by spamming Wait in the Giant Hornet battle. By Level 30 I noticed that she stops covering her body after being stripped naked, and by another milestone I realised I could watch a hidden scene back at her home.
I want to ask if there are going to be any "bad" consequences for having high Lewdness in future updates, perhaps like missing scenes or animations that would just be skipped completely if the Lewdness level is too high? I really want to continue with the save file I progressed with almost 100%ing the current public build.
You need to get your Lewdness level up to a certain amount and use the Dildo item, which she would have refused to use earlier, would now try to use it while sitting on her bed.

I'm curious cause it feels a little unfair that Celica is the only one that can be assaulted. and is kind of immersion breaking too, since the in world reason for why the monsters assault you is cause its their mating season and you are female, and they can still assault you even with zero allure, so they should also try to "grapple" allies when you think about it.
From what I've read on the patreon page, things like that might be a reality in the future when there are more resources and time to spare on this project. Personally looking forward to it.

If your affinity with Nel is 1.9, you need to visit your home without the spirit stone equipped. At 2.9 you have to let 2 days pass without her possessing you.
i think there should be a limit to how long nel, can controll celica's body. because when she choses to play whit the eclectric jellyfish, that takes like 15 min of just wating..

I miss the old guard model. No, they were not 'hot' and very 'placeholder', but part of the power fantasy when playing a hot young adventurer is when you have gaps between appearance and MC status. Maybe I will give the background character the time of day... maybe not. It adds a bit of RP consequences to interactions if they get fleshed out if the MC gets haughty or rewards benevolent choices if present. I do like the new guard models, but I also wonder why they are guards? A guard's role is to guard, which is why they warned my that the monsters are in their mating season (supposedly, but I haven't seen any baby monsters) instead of going out into the woods. These new guards have names and went out on patrol in the woods... so then they are adventurers? My brain says these are compatriot adventurers instead of guards. It makes more sense for the social roles in the town as currently described? I don't know the planned content, and if they are in the right place as the right characters, great. If they could be adventurers or I can get my old reliable guards back in some way, also great :p
Hey, so apparently my saves from 10.562 are not working with the current update, I don't know if saves are supposed to work cross-update or not, but it seemed fine in the conversion to old updates, but now running any old saves will send me to title screen.
grind until max level i'd say. if you can, put all your points to the ice spell to knock at least one of them out in one hit. it's the most annoying part of the game so far but you can do it
Please for the love of god make the battle animations skippable, as I'm writing this message I'm currently in my 3rd loop of fighting fairies, because they put me to sleep then grab me, and each turn takes like 15 seconds because the animations take so long, and the moment i wake up, assuming i'm still not stunned from climax, i get one off, it puts me back to sleep, and i have to wait another 5 minutes to even get another chance at getting them off.
hey a while back a saw a post on here talking about how mobs will get you in an infinite grab loop if your allure is to high, and I just thought that maybe you could add enemy orgasms they work the same as your own and give you 3 turns to get the enemy of you and deal some damage it would also make sense as they do say its mating season right now. it would also be hot to see some creampie/cumshot content
NP. I think it has something to do with Renpy (I think that's the engine the game uses) and how it handles files, it's not the only game that gives the odd false positive.
All your saves will be available in the new version. I've taken extra measures to ensure that everything will be carried over whenever you load a save from a previous version of the game.
I recommend making a save at the beginning of the day. (As soon as Celica wakes up) so you'll be able to load that when the new version comes out.

I think you need the spirit stone for that event if not then take it off and visit her idk I kinda forgot the step to those events. If you don't have the spirit stone I believe you can get it from the shopkeeper in the tent
Hi, I was hoping to download your game and my anti-virus (windows defender) is saying your files have a trojan in them? I'm just posting this here and seeing if there might be an issue with myself or the files of the .zip. I am interested in downloading this but I'm a bit hesitant if there's something like that in there.
It's a false positive from Windows Defender. It's a common problem found on many games developed with Ren'Py. I've scanned the game with other antivirus including Malwarebytes with no issues.
There are 2 versions of the game TownOfMagic.exe (64-bit) and TownOfMagic-32.exe (32-bit).
The 32 bit is for older Windows versions and usually reports the false positive. If your Windows can run the 64-bit version, you can delete the 32 bit if you want to be safe.
Hey, I have a similar problem. I downloaded the .zip file but I cant extract it or open it. I tryes 7-Zip to extract it but it says there is a Virus or a unwanted software and after about 5 sec the file will be deleted
Report: Lucky Cat recognizes that I should be getting the 20% coin increase but the game doesn't actually give it to me. Tested on Hornet Wasp, got 20 coins instead of 24. It may not happened due to me leveling up after that battle.
Edit: Actually, it is working correctly, sorry. the 20% gets applied during the results, and then the rest (the actual battle gain) is applied after the results. Was confusing, safe to buy.

Hi, I've noticed that on the new changelog of the patreon build there's no "New hidden event with Nel", does that mean that we've reach the end of Nel's route?
Love'd the game btw, I think the game has an incredible amount of potential and is already pretty good. I was a patreon a couple of months ago but money got a bit tight, I'll consider being one again in the future. Keep up the good work but remember not to overwork yourself.

Apparently the secret to that is to set your allure as low as you can make it, it decreases the chances of nel letting enemies play with you
having 0 allure completely stop nel from letting enemy's use you

Also, up the drop rate for sleepless roses, I've found one (1) rose drop that was instantly followed by 6 fairy fights in a row

it's a false-positive. Bullguard does that with it, but there isn't a virus in it far as I can tell.

You should try finding the ghost yourself after midnight. Use an energy potion if you have to. Then if you do find it, let her know.

she can help you upgrade the necklace that increases your allure but nothing involving her fighting by your side at least as far as i know
That isn't Galiene. Galiene is the person you first meet at the very beginning of the game. She said something about how she can help me if I need it.

There will always be a Nel event in each build. It's just included with all events.
