I love this but sometimes i have to restart it because all the plants that are on my tabs to the taskbar just go down on everything or go up and even in i open a new tab it still is glitched. i dont have any screenshots but if i do ill reply to my comment with them. do you know any possible cause or reason it does this? if so, thanks
This is for every window pc. Your pc might need an update, or you disabled something from somewhere? Just go to settings and check for windows updates.

Pc cleaner software? Don't download CCleaner, try Glary Utilities! That's what I use and it's really useful. Oh and make sure to go to settings for disk clean up and uncheck cookies. You might log off from websites.
Here is a way to quit the app, go to your hidden icons button, click it, then you will see a blue flower, left click on it then it will give you an option to quit the app, after that you can uninstall easily!!!
I see some people saying this is a virus because you can't uninstall it. Here's a step-by-step to uninstall it for Windows.
1. Open the files application
2. Scroll down to "This PC" and click the left arrow, click "Windows (C:)"
3. Click the folder titled "Program Files (x86)" (Not sure if the number is different on other PCS but this is mine).
4. Find the folder titled "Samperson" then click the folder titled "Desktop Meadow"
5. Scroll till you see "Uninstall" click it then an administrative pop-up will appear, click the left one.
6. Do a full shut down of your PC, before it lets you shut it down it'll say it will close 2 applications before you can shut down. Click yes. Then just open your PC again and it should be gone.
Hope this helps, and please stop saying this is a virus.
(BTW you can delete the file after you do this if you
to tell the truth, this is probably not a virus. Why would samperson just randomly make one of his projects a virus?! I mean, that's just not logical. All of the others have no viruses, guaranteed. (I've downloaded all the ones that are for mac) I mean, just because it's not easy to uninstall doesn't mean it's a virus!! That's ridiculous. And if some virus scanner says it's suspicious, it's most likely because the project puts stuff on your windows and other things, and the anti-virus might get suspicious because of it. So really, I think it's safe to download. Well, I'll be able to prove it once it's on mac (I think samperson's working on a mac version {hopefully lol}...)
Also, I don't get why people want to uninstall it. HOW EASILY ARE YOU DISTRACTED, PEOPLE?! Just some birds and plants on top of your windows and that's suddenly distracting? Desktop goose is waaaay more distracting (at least I think... I can't downloaded this so I don't know...)

Hey there, I had uninstalled desktop meadow but still get notifications for it? Do I have to reinstall it in order to uninstall it proper?
I honestly love it, it's nice for when you feel your desktop is bland. Maybe you could add a feature where you can plant and grow plants?

For Those who Dont know How to remove the Meadow Heres A Trick for people on windows:
1. Right click your Start button on the bottom Left.
2. Click Task manager
3. Find Desktop Meadow in Task Manager and click it.
4. Once you have clicked it, Click "End Task" At The bottom Right Of The Task manager Page.
5. The Meadow should be gone.
Hopefully This works for People on Windows.

I deleted this a while back because I kept getting the same messages and it got annoying. Was nice until that point, though.

It's fun and calming to mess around with, but how do I close it?
Just go to your taskbar, click the arrow with the apps running in the background, right-click the desktop meadow and click exit.
You can also disable it from starting when pc turns on, with startup manager.
It messes with my 'auto hide taskbar' on win10. Makes it quite unusable.

I found though some issues:
-It doesn't work on secondary monitors

whoops I just noticed in the video that the birds are flying everywhere in your desktop... that may be a little distracting... lol
you can easily close it so there still shouldn't be a problem
