Hi, I really enjoyed the demo. Also, I'd love to buy it, but I have two questions. The first was asked below me... "Is this the full price?'' When playing the demo, I couldn't help but notice all of the locked content tied to Patreon Subs. If I drop the $19.99, I know that I will be getting future updates late, but would I still see locked stuff like what was shown in the interaction menu? The other question is regarding game completion... If something happens and the game ends up off of this website are the people who bought it screwed? (Will never see the game update to full completion even after purchasing) I am trying to see if I should wait for a possible full release on Steam/GOG or support now.
I'm also curious, because I believe this here and another game didn't show much on steam db and for the other game i figured out there was a ban. I'm only somewhat sure about this one here.

To get to the demo I pressed "Visit us on Patreon" underneath "Plot introduction' up above. Next, you press "About" and scroll down to "Public - v0.20.0" underneath "Latest version download" That is the demo... As you can see, v20. is quite old... hence why I had some questions, too. The Patreon version of the actual game is on v0.44 and this site has the actual game on v42 apparently. (This stuff confuses me)
Either way, playing the demo was pretty fun considering I typically don't play games like this. I saw a post recommending it when browsing House Party. (Another exception along with ''Breeders of Nephelym" and the cancelled "Monster Girl Island")
Monolith Bay seems to have an interesting story to me, and I already feel an attachment to characters introduced, etc. It gave me ''Life is Strange'' vibes too for some reason. Anyways, I hope that someone answers for us soon because I heard that it improved so much. I did see tons on the Discord, but it is time consuming scrolling through each tab. Lol This game really looks promising to me in a market full of Visual Novels.
I mostly play RPG/JRPG games, and I am new to the adult rated games like this one. I just figured that I should try more of them because I also consider myself a variety gamer, too. It felt weird just owning some of the most violent games so why not these types, too... as long as they are good. Lol Plus, I just wanted a break from what I usually play because most games seem copy and paste, these days... That is how I found this. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did... even with the older build.

By the way, regarding the other game ban... Steam is so hypocritical with its allowed/not allowed games. I can't help but notice that. I started pc gaming to get away from this type of unfair stuff, but it seems like it is still a problem... It is unfortunate. I am sure that whatever the game was wasn't extreme enough to warrant that. I see games that are console safe/console games banned also. Lol

Please change the "get off bike" button the same as "get on bike". You can't change the key in the settings and it's getting in the way. Btw, great game! :)
I also have a question. What is you update policy on itch.io? On patreon the newest version is 0.41. Does this mean that itch.io release is always older version? By how much if so and what will happen when there will be final release on patreon?
Updates here every 3 months while Patreon is monthly. That's why you see a minor version update jumping 3 numbers at a time (ex 0.36 to 0.39). 0.42 should release here next month.
Main quest broken, Violets door is locked but the game keeps telling me to spend time with her. Also I got a message from her but during the texting sequence I clicked on contact her and might have broken something.
I cant start the game, but i dont know whats wrong. The .exe file is there and when i try to open with 7zip the messages over pops up. I have tried both the .exe files and downloaded the "MonolithBay\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us\UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe" but nothing works.
What do i extract (like wich folder), and how do i do it? Because i have tried extracting the main folder when you first open seven zip, the next 4 folders, and the external .exe file. But it still wont work

Movement and basic interaction is done by controller. Most things requiring a menu, requires mouse input.

Have you extracted every file at once out of the downloaded zip archive? Right click and extract the archive before you start the game exe.

Just right click the zip file and choose 7zip>Extract here or Extract to. That should extract all there is.

There should be MonolithBay.exe in the root folder to start the game. Have you extracted the archive you have downloaded with a tool such as 7zip?
Just tried downloading again and the .exe was there. Wasn't the first time. must have been a glitch or something.

Download it on itch. Extract the archive. Run the exe. Your saves from earlier versions should be available automatically.
