0.1.1 Holy Hammer


Good evening! 

This update mainly consists of general improvements and fixes to the reworked physics from last update. However, there is also a cool new item (Holy Hammer) that heals non-vampires, and an elite enemy system by which named enemies spawn. More on that in a future update.

Physics shouldn't glitch out and launch you into infinity anymore. You can take NPCs out of graveyard without them disappearing. Ingots and other NPCs' necks don't break anymore when you leave an area and come back multiple times. New fog giant textures. Probably some other stuff im not remembering.

Juice sucking has been improved, you shouldn't be killed by skeletons and you shouldn't be pushed around by large corpses anymore. You should also be able to remove most characters from their natural environments without them disappearing.

Provided this update doesn't introduce any more problems, I hope to get some new monsters and areas done in the next week.

 the juice manipulation mechanic is probably the best one yet

make her small so she can fit through the juice door then use juice manipulation to push her through, then fall with her and boom

The new weapons (especially the Draginslayer) are super cool and so is the  new juice  controlling mechanic. Very nice work, and really fun!

Since nobody made a post of this thing (i think) i wanted to. WHAT IS THIS CREATURE?! Its werid how it made alien sounds if you hit it in version 1.  It also damaged you in version 1.

Whoa, thats very pretty. I know people hate on bloom but that's nice. Also since you asked in another thread, the mushroom is just there to exist. Might be edible after a while.

Holy hammer... So does it mean that we will be eventually able to either avoid becoming a vampire or curing vampirism? Because now Holy Hammer doesn´t much seem useful with its healing aside of beginning of the game, before being turned into a vampire.

the holy hammer is so neat. It's fun to kill car enemies with it by just pressing it down on top of them, like your branding them with a hot iron. The fact that it lights up when swinging makes me ponder the potential for a "spooky" biome with invisible enemies that can only be revealed by the holy hammer's swinging glow or something. 

So many cool elements, can't wait to see how you'll apply them!

I'm not sure what was causing the freeze in your case, it's worth a shot to see if it did. If it crashes you can help me solve the problem by emailing me the error log.
