WHY IS IT NOT FOR MAC sorry didn't see caps on

You can use wine and winebottler to allow your mac to run it. It's really simple. So first you have to download wine and winebottler. Then you have to right click on the exe file, open with, wine. Next a window should pop up and you should click Convert to simple OS X file using winebottler or something like that. Then a menu should pop up with a lot of overwhelming settings. Where it says the file name, you will see 3 options below it. Click the second option which I think says, This is the app, and something other thing. Next click install. This might take a while. When it finishes, launch it. A window might pop up a bit later saying that something has to update. If it doesn't work, try again. I did the same thing 3 times and it didn't work. Then I tried it again and it worked. Sorry if this didn't help.

There is nothing wrong with the website. I would like to see the code go open-source. I think it would be beneficial for developers to learn from this. This is a solid piece of work. Additionally, I would love to contribute to the code base and perhaps fork my own version.

I suppose that would be nice but it does put a bit of a hole in my future plans of making a full release!

It might not be such a bad idea to open source the game, to be honest. It could allow for more frequent updates (with the help of the community) as well as allowing other developers to build off your code and, for example, port it to other OS/systems (I saw 2 comments already asking for a 3DS file version and an Android app)

i found out something cool some how with a camp fire you can make your wooden sword burn stuff every time you attack :O i wish i could record this i don't know how i got that to happen

if you swing your sword into a fire, it lights on fire for 7 seconds 😊

Is there anything to do after you have 7 hearts, sword, axe, bow, hammer, quiver, sprint boots, flint, and korok leaf? I haven't found anywhere to go after that. Smashed every boulder, but haven't set fire to every tree yet.

Okay, set fire to every tree (and patch of grass). Nothing new uncovered.

It will work in WINE, with a little love.

I found a bug where when you drop the bow and pick it up, you get more arrows. I have like 500 arrows now.

If I were you I would remove the GameMaker: studio text on the top left of the game window. You can do this by going in Global Game Setting -> Windows -> General -> now change the display name. Just a tip, looks more professional :).

wow played for 27 minutes and its amazing great job can't wait for the next updates by the way is there a place to report bugs because i found one :v

okay so if you equip the sword and go to the place where the hammer is if you keep attacking while moving the block to get the hammer the hammer disappears as if you picked it up but it doesn't appear in your inventory (don't ask me how i found that out :P)

This is the reason why you should cook your food in fire. Placing apple near fire makes it baked apple, which recovers 2 hearts. Remember that the resources are finite. Also, wooden sword can catch fire. But still, I like it. There is only a few play-throughs of this game in youtube.

Thanks for showing that korok leaf can create a fireball when used near fire.

This game is still in demo. You can't complete it.

:O I didn't know you could cook them by dropping things near the fire! I'll have to give it another go to see how far I can get with this in mind

This is really cool!

I am very excited to see what the full game will have to offer! I haven't beaten the demo yet, mainly because it is very late here haha. But I am looking forward to having a save feature. And also, the game runs kind of slowly compared to how fast it runs for other people, do you just think it's my computer? If not, will there be any lag fixes to this?

I already completed the demo (I think). I got wooden sword, korok leaf, iron hammer, quiver, 3 heart containers, Running Boots, Woodcutter's axe, Apple (Baked), Calamari (Cooked), Flint, 2 Bows and Arrows. Is that all?

Also, I can't wait for the full release of this game!

Is there any way of moving the log apart from pushing it? IDK what to do with it?

Yeah, thats pretty much it. I'm guessing the game is going to expand where it says WIP. I'm guessing that means "Work in Progress".

Hey Winter Drake, I just want to mention how awesome this game is and I hope you continue to work on it and add future updates. I've played the game 2 times full with all the available items and heart containers. It's just an overall fun and cool spin-off of LoZ:BotW. I also want to mention that it's probably not only me who is experiencing this issue, but for what ever reason I can't pick up arrows dropped by Bokoblins or other enemies. Hope you find a way to fix that bug and good luck on developing the game!

I don't do a good job communicating it in the demo, but you can only hold 24 arrows without the quiver! Once you're full, arrows don't pick up

I'm a Digital speed painter who has worked on titles like Enderal (Skyrim total conversion) and some other animated television series in the US. I've been thinking about doing some art for a Zeldaish project for weeks now ever since I finished BOTW. I have my switch, BotW, the pro controller, and I stumb;e upon this and I play it with my pro controller xD

I played version 1.3 when the V2 version came out? And that in this version has the customization of the link and some way of the link to climb the mountains and have the scenes of the original game and the divine srines and beast pls

I dont know where else to put this but i found a bug, if you take the bow and arrow then drop it from your inventory it doubles the amount of arrows in the bow once you pick it back up

I love the game so far, and I know it is a demo and in development, but I have noticed very noticeable framerate drops when there is lots of fires in grass or trees. Also just a few lag spikes for seemingly no reason.

It's not possible to save in the demo. Also, I'm aware that the demo has awful optimisation. I've already doubled the framerate in the next version!!

Cannot wait for more updates, will saving be a feature in the future?

Of course! In a 30 minute demo it's not a huge deal, but in a full length game, it's a necessity!!

If nintendo asks me to stop producing this as a fan-game, I'm happy to comply, but I don't believe that accepting personal donations is the same thing as charging money for the product
