Mr. Caribdis, if you're reading this! 'Eternum' is such an amazing game that inspired me to create my own HS2-based harem VN! Of course, with a completely different story, characters, and theme, but nonetheless inspired by 'Eternum' and hopefully at least somewhat as ambitious in terms of game flow and story. Version 0.1 is about 30% complete at this point. But enough about me, thank you so much for the inspiring hard work, keep it up!
As others have said, I created this account just so I can type this:
I came looking a "quick fap" really, I never played any adult game so this was my first, but boy o boy I never imagined what was about to happen to me! The story is just PEAK storytelling, the humor is marvelous, the models are insane and the sex scenes are top tier. Lurked for nfsw and stayed for your amazing work. I never thought I would be counting the days for the update of an eroge... like... for real, you changed my mind about this types of games, honestly I don't know if this kind of content and storytelling is something usual about these types of games but you have me sold, I will play every update and every game you make from this day to the day I die. I have no money right now but next month I will contribute because this kind of work deserves the best support!

I'd say that story quality among original VN's(mostly Japanese) is indeed quite usual thing. Tho among all types of vn's existing such level of quality is very rare, - especially among "nswf"-oriented.
If got motivated enough about story you can check vndb.org for top of best VN's released in any format and any language. Many of them Japanese/psp only, but there are a lot at least English/PC localized.

You should absolutely replay the game! It is way to good to be played only ones!
But don't worry, the savefiles should be saved not in the folder but... Idk... In appdata or in the registry or somewhere? Anyway's, after installing the new version and launching it if you didn't reset your pc or somehow deleted those files as well it SHOULD just show your saves. But no warranty given if you completely deleted the game xD
The update procedure for Windows, for this and most other RenPy games (RenPy is the game engine in which Eternum and many other games is running), is:
1. Check your Eternum saved games folder, in Windows it's located in this path:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\RenPy
where "YOURUSERNAME" is your actual user account name. It might be a hidden folder, so you might be required to check the "Show hidden folders" option inside Windows file explorer.
Inside that path, you can see all saved games from all your installed RenPy games , each one will be inside a folder with the name of the game, "Eternum" for this game, along a very long number.
That's the folder where your saved games are actually stored, they aren't stored inside your game folder but in this other one. The reason for this is to separate game data (which is generic, and should be easily replaceable) from user data (which is particular to you, and only you can replace it). I don't agree with this architecture, but it's the one Windows is following since Windows XP times.
Make a backup of that folder, in case something goes wrong, because you could download the game as many times as you want, but you can't replace YOUR saved games if they get corrupted, erased or broken somehow.
2. Extract your downloaded 0.7 version game to a different folder from which 0.6 version folder is in. Exactly like you did when you first installed the game, but to another folder.
Don't mix folders from different game versions unless you are told to. Other games release an "only update" version and a "full release" version so you aren't required to download the full game again just to update.
Eternum was only a "full release", so the new game folder doesn't require being intermixed, the new release is everything you need to run the game from the beginning and to continue from 0.6 .
3. Open the new 0.7 version exe and go to load game. Here there would be two possibilities, depending on:
a) The new version being incremental, which means 0.7 contains 0.7 and everything backwards, including the start of the game. This is how Eternum worked until now and I couldn't run 0.7 yet but it's probably the same. With 0.7 version you can just load any saved game and continue playing from there, when you reach the end of 0.6 you will just continue with the new 0.7 content.
b) The new version might not include previous content, which would probably be announced with a "Second part", "Season two" etc... name. For this, you need to save the game at the end of the previous game where you are told to, "Please save your game now" or the like. Then, when you start the following version, you won't be able to start from the start of the game because the new version doesn't include previous content, but you would be able to "import" or "load" the saved game you did at the end of the previous game and continue from there.
4. If you downloaded an incremental version, which is the case with Eternum, once you checked you can continue playing the new 0.7 version content, you can delete the 0.6 game folder. You can safely delete it if:
-You are sure you backed up your saved games folder, described in step 1 here
-You are sure your 0.6 saved games work with the new 0.7 game, so you don't need to keep using 0.6 version for anything else
5. From now on, you can always start the 0.7 version game. It will keep the new saved games in the path described in step 1.
6. For future updates it's the same procedure
Hope it helps, this kind of install procedures were usual for older games (pre Windows XP times) but aren't common now, so if you never found one then you won't know where to start.

the story in this game is everything you could ever want from an AVN plenty if turns and twists, fantastic graphics, hot women and a great developer. I'm really looking forward to 0.7's drop as this was my second every AVN after once in a life time which was another great game, and I'm on the edge if my seat waiting for the April drop keep up the fantastic work carbidis. :)

If I were to have one gripe, it would be that the game is sorely lacking in NSFW content though. Theres maybe one sex scene in every 3-4 missions which in of themselves are really long, I wish there was more in this area, and I hope more actual NSFW content is added in future updates

Haha no offense but one major reason I love this game is because its more heavily focused on the plot and not the NSFW content. Still the scenes are fun and its an awesome game!

Second , I know this is only a tiny thing but I really , really love the posters of all of the servers especially Ion and Meiyo!! Those are very beautiful . May I ask that are those original ? If so , the artist(s) had done a very good job . I've also noticed that a couple events had already took place on some of them , but will there be more another batch of posters featuring more servers ? Also , I would definitely love hanging all of the server's posters on my walls besides Alex's displate . By the way , Eternum is way too good and without a doubt a masterpiece . Did I mention it before ? Yes I did and is absolutely worthy of mentioning it twice.

Mate, either are acceptable. A bar is a place, an object, and a transitive verb. Barred is an adjective and bar is also a noun. English can be confusing as hell, I hope this helps. :)

To get updates earlier, you must use Subscribestar or Patreon. These have monthly subscription models: You can pay $30 for just one month and get all respective benefits for that month, but once your subscription runs out, you no longer get anything. If you need to optimize your finances, you can spread your $30 out, e.g. paying $6 on five release months to get the newest update 6 days earlier each time.

Keep the old version Installed and instead of running from the 0.6 folder run the game from the launcher found in the 0.7 folder.

If you didn't delete your saved games folder, described in step 1 from my previous comment, they might be still there.
In this case, you only need to download the new 0.7 version and run it, it will automatically search for saved games in the default path.

You can't, you must have played through her Day of the Dead arc in order to continue your relationship with her!
