Really sorry to tell you that I've never had an opportunity to test the Linux version! Only ever on Windows or a web browser, so I don't know if I can do a whole lot for ya. :(
This game is amazing, but saving seems to be bugged out for me. Also, just had a crash after Saddler put Ashley in her super restful sleep chamber. Playing on Windows, latest edition, Chapter preloading, and had legit played like fifteen chapters or more because I've been BINGING this brilliance
Hey there! Sorry for your crash, although we're glad it's just because you're having so much fun lol.
There are so many assets in the game that doing chapter preloading and playing for a long time can basically cause a memory overflow. I've yet to figure out how to make the engine purge memory mid-game to solve this problem, but if you restart with episode preloading (use Episode Select as needed), then you should be able to continue. There is also a way to manually purge the memory - I can link you to it on our discord if you hop over there.

It's most probably not but hey maybe it means to tell me that I suck? LMAO great game though!! I'm just a bit bummed that I got a bad ending AND the game just kicks me out at the same time.
We're so sorry to hear that happened to you! No, that is definitely not intentional (even if it is funny lol). Have you tried booting the game fresh and using Episode Select to jump back to that scene and trying again? That often resolves a lot of issues. Otherwise, we'll need to investigate, in which case I need to know:
1) What version you're playing (Windows or Browser, and if the latter, which one)
2) Whether you're playing the latest version 1.04.3 (visible in the top-left corner of the first screen)
3) What preloading option you used (Chapter or Episode) and how many continuous episodes you played when the crash happened (approximations are fine)
That would help me narrow the potential issue. We want you to get the happy ending you deserve!

if an appreciative billionaire wants to skyrocket us into a new tax bracket, we certainly won't say no lol. but in lieu of that, we're happy that it's giving you and your friends such a good time together. enjoy it because nobody's probably be crazy enough to go through this trouble again.
I will say, i was pleasantly surprised by this game. i randomly saw it in passing on google looking up images for thumbnails and i will say, i did not regret downloading this game!
being someone who loves the og re4 & had recently completed the remake, i found this to scratch my itch on the game but give it a new & refreshing perspective! the amount of times i thought i could predict what was going to happen & ended up being completely wrong was honestly an awesome experience!
the clear love and dedication to not only this fan made game but to the original re4 is clearly on display and the team should be really proud that this was put together amazingly!
i don’t normally go out of my way to comment these sorts of things but this game was too well made not to!
shameless plug lol but i recently made a video about my experience with the game & left a lil review by the end if the team, or anyone else viewing this is curious to see this 4-6 hour experience in about half hour, here y’a go!

Masterpiece! You legend. It's all incredibly well done, my god. I'm not even done yet, but this game has me laughing out loud so much dude. Recently got to the Ashley "Violent Reaction." Bless you for that, that's gotta be my favorite moment so far. Can't even fathom the amount of work it took to put all of this together. Love, love, LOVE how this game forces you to think about the events of the game from Ashley's perspective since we don't get much from her in the OG RE4 at all

Linux version isnt working! It just goes to a white page with "cancel" and "ok" that I can't even click. :(
