February 10th Progress Update! Zombie Planet plans.


Heyo everyone! Little bit of a late weekly progress post here, but this week was dedicated to setting up the aesthetic, and layout of the zombie level. The level will have you following these tubes through the rubble of the planet. I had to make some adjustments to the rail script to allow the player and camera to go upside down, as it is something you will technically do in this level as you circle around these pipes.

These pipes are actually a massive parasite that has killed this planet, but it is also the main thing holding this planet together.

Here's a couple other looks at some things to come including: The new character: Rooster, and Female Aether.


Anyways! Next week is going to be focusing on implementing the enemy rails and timing. Catch you all then!

Does the fact that you're working on female Aether mean that masc/fem Affinity is finally going to mean something soon?

Hopefully ahah. At least at simplified level. I'm not sure if it will be done in this build, but hopefully very soon. Note that it won't be implemented as a "route". If you go female Aether, Aether can still revert back to male, so all content will still be accessible in 1 play through.
