I guess I'm back.

Welcome back! ๐Ÿ‘ And thank you for the video. ๐Ÿ˜Š
On the official A.P.P. Discord server there are quite a few hints for the coded knocks puzzle. Just go to the #hints channel and look for my replies. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This was really good! I liked the eerie atmosphere and imagery, and I liked how the game required you to use the in-game text to progress. That's a really neat mechanic!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it, and that you appreciated its text-hunting side as well. Since the game's structure is highly narrative, I thought it was a way to make sure the player had to meticulously go over its story (quite literally ๐Ÿ˜‰).

It's a great way to keep players engaged when your game is text-heavy. I wish more games used it.

woah new game!! don't see any playthrough vids yet..so, may i ask if there's any jumpscares/sudden disturbing imagery? (really want to experience the psychological horror though)

Don't worry, the horror aspect, albeit still present, is much more subdued this time, and definitely of an exclusively psychological nature.
This game is a crime story with creepy/eerie elements, and when/where it gets disturbing, there's no harsh/abrupt introduction of new contents (I'm trying my best to avoid spoilers here ๐Ÿ˜‰).
In short, I'm sure you can safely enjoy it. ๐Ÿ‘

haha thanks for the heads up! (can see how hard you're trying to avoid spoilers lol)

any tiny hint for the keyboard in room 805, the one in your screenshot?? (maybe spoilers: i managed to spell out a word, but have completely no idea how that relates to what to type on the keyboard)

I saw you've joined our Discord server, thank you and welcome! I'll help you out over there so we can keep spoilers at minimum here. ๐Ÿ˜‰

thanks for the hint! just finished the game -  kinda know what's happening but still confused. really like those unique mechanisms that make the story proceed. having played most of your psychological horror games, i think you really grasp the essence of the style!

Thank you for your kind words! ๐Ÿ˜Š
If you want to delve a bit deeper into the story, I recommend you to have multiple playthroughs. It certainly helps towards catching every "briefly changing" element.
