This game is awesome, I mostly came here after I saw Kubzscouts play it and I enjoyed the art style and gameplay so far. Here's my video on the latest song that I tried, which was Side Chain Fever, and I had fun, though I didn't full clear it. Merry Christmas to everyone :)

I finished demo, all songs and here are my humble thoughts and BUGS found:
1. Cream Cheese Icin is much, much harder compared to Nami, Stir & Mix and Grease Poppin. Finishing it took me longer than those 3 combined, even when playing demo for 2nd time. I enjoy this game being hard, but first song (excluding tutorial) easier than 3 next ones including boss isn't something I expected. Still easier than Tennis and Sidechain
2. Hard mode would be amazing, but I'm sure there will be one in future if there is normal and easy mode already
3. "Making wish" thing is masterpiece! :D
4. I like old Cream Cheese Icin little more. Voices, music and all. Only change I would prefer to be is spray painting
5. First bug is seeing trough walls, once you're touching them. You can see under Melodii's stairs, trough walls in her home and outside
6. At the end of Sidechain Fever I had lags. Not to big ones, but lags in rhytm games are lethal.
7. I'm not against it, but in this world, politics etc. Melodii's interaction with bathrooms in McWave's can be disliked by people
However I still love this game, can't wait for full version, will totally buy or preorder it and personally I find Sidechain and Nami songs best <3
Easily one of the best rhythm games in a long time between the adorable visuals, catchy tunes, and the overall mood. Astonished at the level of quality here, as a clear love letter to Parappa the Rapper, it nails every mark perfectly.
The game broke! I started playing and out of nowhere all my song data is gone, the story mode button doesn't work, and the second I start playing any level the animation freezes and I can't play. (The game doesn't crash and I am playing on an expensive computer)
Definitely sounds like your hardware's specs are below what's recommended, it definitely isn't supposed to run like that. I've added a recommended system requirements section to the page now. Sorry about that!
This game allows basically no creativity if your not bashing your keyboard, Supastar Tennis is pinpoint perfect which just makes me not want to play the song at all, and if you don't have a good computer this game is basically unplayable. Sure the 2022 demo lagged on my Rust-Bucket 3000, but at least that was playable. Not saying the whole game is bad, just that it needs some difficulty tweaks and optimization.
fr yeah, I was able to even stream the demo with minimal issues, only a bit of lag, but now I can't even play the game without streaming it without crazy lag. it's very frustrating. not to mention that a game that encourages creativity and "putting your own spin on it" makes you lose points on a line if you get ONE button/timing wrong, regardless of how well you were doing on that line outside of that one mess up. (like I'll press the button in time but "oops it was the wrong button sorry lose 133 points and now ur in lo-fi")
If you can't navigate to the Clear Data button through the in-game menu, try going to "HKCU\Software\LJ LephemStar" in the Windows Registry Editor, and then deleting the "Scratchin' Melodii (Demo)" folder inside. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Ive been following the game since the sage 2022 demo and having alot of fun! But i've encountered something thats driving me nuts and I dont know if its a bug or if its meant to be that way, but whenever I complete a song with S rank it just shows up as A rank in the quick groove menu. It sucks because S rank takes lots of work so id like to atleast see proof that I managed to do it.
Check the title screen to see if it says "V1.031" in the top left. If not, your S ranks will only show on the menu if your highest score was an S rank. V1.031 changed this so it would save your rank separately from your score, but if you're still having issues after switching to the latest version be sure to let me know!
This is a very good update, I noticed a vocal change only on the jamtyneI haven't played the old demo for a long time and I was shocked by the 3d and the change in the beginnings of the songs is a good update, I thought that the project was abandoned because there were no new messages on Twitter or in discord, and today is a good day 2.2 geometry dash, melodii update. i like song "Sidechain Fever".Write your favorites
i think i might have done too much tinkering with controls...
- i tried mapping to the keypad with the generic layout but the 4 & 6 functioned as left and right, with no way to get out of the options menu (also tried using num lock to see if that was the problem but it only stopped the 4 & 6 from triggering left and right)
- retried with different keypad numbers but nothing triggered 'select' or 'go back'
- said fiwb and decided to map keyboard to generic layout and it switched back to the keyboard look by itself (still nothing responds to 'select' or 'go back'
- also the game got moderately louder ToT
- auto button did ??? not sure
- re-extracted the game and it did not respond past the initial loading screen... oops
either way i love the songs (+ the new tuning!!! so crisp) and maybe my cursed layout was not meant to be
Might wanna check the audio on that first opening thing. Its WAY WAY WAY to loud. Like "Audio is completely distorted" levels of loud. Edit: The volume OVERALL seems to be extremely extremely loud, and I have no idea why. At 1% windows volume the audio is completely distorted and very audible.
I tried a bit but cannot understand the Expression rank at all. It's always super low no matter what I try. Someone said to me I should "do additional input with the rhythm" but If I don't follow the buttons that are shown, it counts as a mistake. What am I doing wrong?
I've S Ranked most of the songs but there was one song that I couldn't S rank Unfortunately, Any ways I'll probably never try to S rank this again lol, But I will keep practicing until the full game comes out.
Have you considered switching to Kaspersky? They actually moved all their data centers out of Russia and reported the country's espionage. I found a bug when I was playing the SupaStar tennis level. I quickly pressed the restart button and it give me this, I have no idea what it is but here it is
The character designs and art are super cute and I love them
Songs are super catchy
Writing is funny
It’s nice to have Melodii as a non binary main character (Perhaps? It’s not stated if Melodii identifies as non binary but that they’re not a boy or girl)
Things I feel could be improved:
I feel the support parts are a little confusing and could be given more of a heads up or something
Perhaps I just have a poor sense of rhythm and just need to get gud lol but I feel that even on easy mode, this game is difficult to play and I end up getting game over a lot. Perhaps easy mode could be more forgiving or maybe an easier mode could be added?
Linux version so I can play on my steam deck would be cool!

Needs a setting for controller stick deadzones, I keep getting misinputs from stick snapback
You can adjust your control stick deadzones by going to Options > Controls > Remap Inputs > Calibrate

I find the system requirements kinda funny because this game is neither cpu or ram intensive...

Melodii is non-binary, if people don't like it then they can funk off and play some other rhythm game.

please add performance options like hide map in songs i cant go without a second without lag
also fix the stupid tennis song i keep hitting the note perfectly but it still doesnt count

you should only use the inputs that are used in the bars but you also have to stay on beat

I found two bugs
The first one is found if you pause the game while the intro is on, you are in the 4th song.
and the second when you lose in the 4th song and before the animation ends you pause the game
